Hope it is half as good as the Witcher 3 game. That was phenomenal.

If it stays faithful to the books and video game it should be good. I am just scared that it will be like "Legends of the Seeker" or "Xena".

Wonder if it'll be animated, 3DCG, or live-action.

Playing that game I thought to myself many times that this would be a perfect universe for a series, so I'm happy to hear this. If it's anything like the game's story dynamic you have a great opportunity to intertwine one-off adventures with deeper season arcs... perfect for a series.

Be great if it was animated, ala HBO's Spawn.

We just got the last "saga" novel a few months ago in English. Still waiting on Season of Storms (its set between stories from the first story collection The Last Wish).

Love the Witcher series, so naturally I expect this to be a massive let down.

That is a little to pretty compared to the Geralt I was used to playing as.

Hopefully they give him some scars, and trim up that mane.

Looks a little too much like Christopher Lambert's Raiden for my liking.

I think it's safe to assume that this is a younger Geralt than what we see in the Witcher 3 video game.

I do believe they are basing the series off of a younger Geralt than the game.

I mostly see Superman cosplaying as an older Legolas during the Justice League's Halloween party, but I'm sure that will change by the time the series comes around.

Boy I hope this doesnt suck. Wonder what the budget will be for this since GOT's had a ridiculously huge budget. I wonder Netflix will try and keep it on that level or go cheaper?

I've read approx $10m per episode. There will be 8 episodes in the first season.
