The Witcher series in development at Netflix...

Hope it is half as good as the Witcher 3 game. That was phenomenal.

Re: The Witcher series in development at Netflix...

If it stays faithful to the books and video game it should be good. I am just scared that it will be like "Legends of the Seeker" or "Xena".

Wonder if it'll be animated, 3DCG, or live-action.

Hope that its done well. If it is, this could be Netflix's Game of Thrones.

Are the books any good? They've all been translated into English, correct?

Playing that game I thought to myself many times that this would be a perfect universe for a series, so I'm happy to hear this. If it's anything like the game's story dynamic you have a great opportunity to intertwine one-off adventures with deeper season arcs... perfect for a series.

Be great if it was animated, ala HBO's Spawn.

We just got the last "saga" novel a few months ago in English. Still waiting on Season of Storms (its set between stories from the first story collection The Last Wish).
