This series is still killing it!
WTF is with Doctor Edwards being 'missing for over a year' and presumed dead?
That means Norman is imagining more than just Mother.

it had nothing to do with the pill. it had to do with him fighting off (at least temporarily) his mother to save his brother and then coming to his senses (at least temporarily).

He had already mentioned it when he asked Mother if he should just turn himself in because he knew what 'they' were doing was wrong.
