DVD Talk Forum - 13 Reasons Why (Netflix) -- Series Thread

I finally just finished season 3. It took me a while, because I would get so frustrated with it after watching an episode or two that I would wait a couple of months before picking it up again.

The last couple of episodes were better, except for the big lie. That felt too contrived. And I don't buy that those kids could keep this secret for long. I have a feeling season 4 will be about their story unraveling.

Ani has to be one of the most two-faced and annoying characters I've ever seen. Were we supposed to like her? If I were Clay, I'd tell her to take a hike.

I know this show is trying to portray everyone as 3-dimensional and complicated, and that's a good thing. But I felt like they portrayed Bryce a little too sympathetically this season, while still showing him acting like a monster to the end.

I'm a little torn. Season 4 will be the final season, so I'll probably try to watch to see how things end up. But I'm not sure I'll make it to the end if it's not an improvement on S3.
