It was funny he had to buy a Coke for $8 so he could use the bathroom at a bar.

I don't love this show , but appreciate its potential and admire the funny parts. This last episode was pretty good - Silverman was great.

I enjoyed this episode the most of the bunch so far. I haven't liked Sarah Silverman this much since she was on Larry Sanders. I was laughing so hard as Pete was explaining to her how his mom supported him until he met his wife and then she took over carrying his ass without a hint of shame.
I feel embarrassed for Artie Lang who during all the promotion for this show continuously bragged he was "the second lead".

It's sad that he was supported by his parents in adulthood and then was supported by his - and didn't actually have a job the whole time. But in real life he's 38 and that would be absolutely pathetic if he was anywhere close to that age in the show.
It seems like he only just pretty recently started trying comedy, so all those years before that what was he doing?

I just watched all 7 episodes back-to-back, and I really enjoyed it. I didn't think I'd like it because I just don't care for Holmes' standup that much, but this is a very entertaining show.
Silverman was great. I could do without T.J. Miller.
Loved the scenes with Pete and Gina Gershon.

I think Pete stole the shirts I have in my closet in the last episode and the one guy telling him he missed a opportunity to bang that hot blonde chick Jenn Lyon with that awful shirt lol.

I liked the finale and the whole baptism theme. I thought Artie Lange was particularly good in this one.

I liked the season overall but the finale was probably the worst episode - not very many laughs. I'm hoping they give us less of his horrible wife/her boyfriend and stick with the standup comedy struggles more in season 2.

Count me as another one that didn't care much for the finale. Not because it was a finale and I expected anything major.. just didn't find it very funny.

There was a handful of attractive strippers in there. She must have been the
blue lite special.
Also I think the woman who was having the baptism (Ellen) or whatever is the woman who is the colon on the
colon medicine commericials. She is in a skin tight pink outfit and a hideous red wig.

I really liked the show but didn't like the finale.
There must have been a more clever way to get Pete fired than the obvious
that he was telling dirty jokes to Ray's mom. Bleep her mom.
Everyone else thought it was funny, get a sense of humor.
Also didn't like that he was in a hotel room with the hippie guy who stole his wife while he was also married.
Dude was a complete d-bag and Pete should have slugged him at least once during the season.

Sounds like you didn't like it because things didn't happen exactly how you would want them to not because of any fault of the show. I can bet the majority of old women wouldn't have a great sense of humor about being singled out for 5 minutes discussing how much oral sex they've had in their lives. And Pete being in the room with the hippie guy is exactly in character with the show up to this point where he is this good guy even when people shit on him and he has a hard time standing up for himself.

Yeh for sure.
I can live with getting fired from the show but I would have liked a more creative way.
And him being in a hotel room with the guy who stole his wife juts isn't working for me.

Feeling lost in the universe, Pete has an enlightening conversation with an atheist, which sends him into a night of New York debauchery. This marks the beginning of a season in which he starts to question his faith and find his voice. Created by and starring Pete Holmes, the comedy series CRASHING returns for its eight-episode second season SUNDAY, JAN. 14 (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. Executive produced by Pete Holmes, Judd Apatow and Judah Miller, the series draws on Holmes' own experiences as a comedian, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the world of stand-up comedy. With the help of Ali, a fellow rising comic, Pete explores the alternative comedy scene, a world of comedy nerds, apartment shows and no-drink minimums, where he begins to thrive. As he continues to lean on the hospitality of comedy greats, Pete explores all types of comedy, from benefit shows to the college market to roast battles. These diverse encounters test his enthusiasm and optimism, but also promise to make him a better comedian as he tries to survive the competitive world of New York stand-up. Series veterans featured on season two of CRASHING include Lauren Lapkus (HBO's "Animals.") as Pete's ex-wife, Jessica, George Basil ("Flaked") as Leif, Jessica's former lover, and comics Dave Attell, Dov Davidoff and Artie Lange, playing versions of themselves. Among the other established talents playing versions of themselves this season are Joy Behar, Doug Benson, Bill Burr, Whitney Cummings, Wayne Federman, Jermaine Fowler, Gilbert Gottfried, Penn Jillette, The Lucas Brothers, Eugene Mirman, John Mulaney, Aparna Nancherla, Dr. Oz, Jeff Ross, Bobby Tisdale, Melissa Villaseņor and Henry Zebrowski, while actress and stand-up comedian Jamie Lee ("Girl Code") joins the series in the recurring role of Ali Reissen.

Season 1 of this show exceeded my expectations, though to be honest they weren't that high to begin with. I am definitely looking forward to the new season, especially since for most other HBO shows I'm interested in the new normal has become taking several years off between seasons.
