Designated Survivor (S1E08) -- "The Results" -- 11/30/16
A NATIONAL EMERGENCY CAUSES KIRKMAN TO CONSIDER CANCELLING THE HOUSE ELECTIONS, ON ABC'S 'DESIGNATED SURVIVOR'
"The Results" - On the eve of the country voting to elect a new House of Representatives, an unexpected development forces Kirkman to consider cancelling the elections entirely. Meanwhile, news has leaked about Majid Nassar's death, and Kirkman has to handle the fallout, on ABC's "Designated Survivor," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EST).
"Designated Survivor" stars Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman, Natascha McElhone as Alex Kirkman, Adan Canto as Aaron Shore, Italia Ricci as Emily Rhodes, LaMonica Garrett as Mike Ritter, with Kal Penn as Seth Wright and Maggie Q as Hannah Wells.
Guest starring Virginia Madsen as Kimble Hookstraten.
"The Results" was written by Paul Redford & Sang Kyu Kim. Chris Grismer is the director.

Cool. It's been good so far, although I'm not a big fan of blackmailing people in law enforcement. Too 24ish.

Anyone else notice when the president turned up the volume on the TV he stopped it at 24...

A showrunner change on the heels of a full season order screams "ousted for creative differences", the same as the first showrunner. I can't wait to see the "improvements."

Films in Toronto
Writers room is in Los Angeles
New showrunner will be based in Los Angeles
Creator/Writer of the show is based in New York
Guessing they use Skype or Facetime a lot to communicate.
Kiefer also has final approval on all scripts
