Amazeballs!

So Flashpoint had a huge impact on the CW/DC Universe as we're finding out. I didn't connect the flashbacks Stein was having with Flashpoint- I thought it was something the Legends were doing that was causing it, but apparently not.

The Dominators can travel dimensions as well as space? If they visited Krypton in Kara's universe, then apparently this seems to be the case.

Or the Dominators exist in both universes.

Yes.

If that's the case, did someone on her earth call them the Dominator's as well?
Not sure people on Earth 38 have dealt with them; even if the people of Krypton in the Earth 38 Univ have.

So is that what made Kara's father develop the virus seen in Supergirl?

Probably, though her self-righteous attitude prevents her from making the connection.

I never thought Stein's daughter had anything to do with Flashpoint, rather it was the advice he gave to his younger self to spend more time with his wife and not be so obsessed with his work. He took his older self's advice and they started a family together.

Yes, since apparently a virus that stopped a war that killed millions of Kryptonians is beyond the pale.

I got the impression the Dominators visited Krypton in their distant past rather than during Kara's dad's time but Medus vs. Dominators does make sense. Weapon of last resort perhaps ...

That was a lot of fun, but too short. The interactions and catchups were way too quick. Makes me wish they had of used the Supergirl episode to allow more time to breath. I guess having it all take place in the Earth 1 universe allows more time across those three shows for everybody to interact. They just shouldn't have billed it at 4 nights.

I haven't watched Arrow since half way through last season, and still had a Flash to catch up on. I was amazed how much of the respective series' this episode dealt with. I figured it would be very standalone.

A lot of the "Hey what are they talking about?" Items reminded me of the good old * from comics where they would have a comment about a side adventure with a citation on the issues or other comic line you'd need to see in order to get caught up. In this case, like somebody mentioned earlier, the Stein's daughter plot need a pop up on the screen that said, "For more details checkout Legend's Season 2 Episodes 6-7. Catch up OnDemand!"

So Cisco meets Supergirl and barely acknowledges her. "Nice universe you got here". Writers really need to bring the old Cisco back. I expected a much bigger reaction from him at least. Between him, Caitlyn's perma-depression, and the West family constantly plotting against Wally the show is becoming a real downer.

Stein's daughter could still be from his own meddling in the timeline or a combination of his and Barry's. The guy met himself and gave himself advice. You don't do that.

It was hilarious how much more powerful Supergirl is over the rest of them. The training scene was better than that fight club video. And I agree they shouldn't have even made her show part of this since it wasn't really.

I guess my point is you say she is "self-righteous"... but To me she seems to be coming to terms with and accepting the fact that her family isn't the perfect innocent family she thought it was. No self-righteousness in that.

Thought this episode was amazing. Loved everything about it. The highlights being:

-Grant and Melissa's chemistry is so awesome.

-Everyone training to fight Supergirl and failing miserably.

-Stein and Caitlin having a moment.

-Rory interacting with Supergirl had me laughing.

-The scene where Oliver and Barry were under attack and the scene where Barry raced Supergirl.

The only thing that didn't feel like it belonged was Joe and Iris being such Debbie downer's to Wally. Other than that though, if your a comic book fan I can't see you not having a big ass cheesy grin on your face the entire time you watched it.

Joe and Iris need to flat out say...Wally, you're blood. If you die it's a big deal to us. Barry, not so much.

They really glossed over Ray Palmer getting a new Atom suit, even though it was the obvious thing for him to do.

The scene where Barry had Supergirl chase him might've been one of the best ones the show has done to date. It showed that he was thinking to get out of the problem and being strategic on getting her to destroy the device for him.

It is something I really wanted to see a lot more from the recent Superman movie universe where superman uses his head to get out of the problem instead of snapping somebody's neck or throwing a krypton spear into the chest of creature.

Must say, that team assemblage in the hangar the first time was pretty cool.

Barry had told his friend Caitlin that Cisco's brother was still alive before he messed with the timeline. Killer Frost then told everyone that Cisco's brother was alive until Barry went back and messed with the timeline.

This episode was fantastic, but let's call a spade a spade... this was part 1 of the crossover.

Loved all the same bits everyone else mentioned, especially Rory's bit with Supergirl.

Maybe I missed it, but did no one in this thread point out that the exterior of the hanger looks just the Hall of Justice from the Superfriends? Really? No one? That's the first time we've seen the exterior, right?

EDIT: Looks like Hokeyboy mentioned it. I enjoyed the crossover overall but this was easily my favorite part. I geeked out the second I saw it. Then every time in the subsequent shows they showed it I did my best "Meanwhile in the Hall of Justice!" impression.

I enjoyed that crossover. I don't usually watch The Flash so I was kind of lost on all the discussion of what the hell's going on.

Very cool and I loved it(pointed it out to the kiddos). Just wondering what STAR Labs has to do with the building.
