Another snoozefest. I'm not a fan of these episodes that focus solely on one or two of the main characters. I know each cast member can't appear in every episode, but I wish the writers would find a way to have more of the main cast in every episode. Also, I can't wait for Negan to die because I'm already tired of the way the actor plays the part (the nonstop grinning and swagger). It's also stupid he wears a leather jacket and scarf in the heat of summer.

I'm glad we got to see some of the background for Dwight and his ex. I have no doubt it will figure to be very important down the line. Personally I like these episodes that focus on some of the characters rather having than the majority of the characters in the series, in every episode, for only a few minutes.

Kind of a slow episode, but it did give a little background on Dwight. And at least we saw what was happening with Daryl. I got that Dwight was also a character that lost hope and decided to turn to that psychopath Negan for leadership.
Only thing is with Daryl being trapped in that small cell for lord knows how long, it would have probably been infested with urine and his feces. All that food they fed him has to come out eventually. Looks like next week we finally get back to the core group. |

Did they ever show the whole cell? Maybe it had plumbing? Or they just gave him a bucket. We didn't need to see the bucket or toilet. It is happening one way or the other.

That probably wasn't the first time since the walker apocalypse started that Daryl had to eat dog food. I imagine it would taste quite gourmet if you were hungry enough.
The sandwich Dwight made for himself looked pretty tasty. |

It reminded me totally of the first Desmond centric episode.
I thought the opening was pretty well done. The rest of the episode dragged a bit. Some good new information on Dwight and how he fits in the whole Negan picture, but they didn't need a full episode for that. I guess its cool that they introduced the fact that Negan also takes the iron to people within his group. |

I woke up this morning with that "Easy Street" song stuck in my head. I can totally understand how that would be pure torture for poor Daryl.

Not quite Benny Hill, but pretty good!

“Bianco, who said the track is inspired by Frank Sinatra, isn’t sure how The Walking Dead found his song, “but when they heard it, the show reached out and asked to use it. I didn’t really understand why a show like The Walking Dead would want to use such an upbeat over-the-top, in-your-face ‘happy’ song, but now I understand. To torture someone, of course.” |

I'm on YouTube and keep hitting repeat on Easy Street!

There is a ten hour loop ... Really, I kind of like it. Then again, I liked the Narwal song and the Star Wars songs too.

This has been sitting on the DVR for a week now. I'm more excited about watching Legends of Tomorrow than The Walking Dead right now....

I still have the last eight episodes of Fear TWD sitting untouched ... Today I finally broke into 3 of the last 4 episodes of Z Nation.
I think apathy says something far worse than hate watching. |
