The pigs should get sick from eating the bacteria filled zombie meat though. I assume they killed them before they started getting sick though. So then eating the pig should just get that person sick from the bacteria. Would it be enough to kill them though?

Much lighter than last week, which was a good thing.

I when Carol tried to keep herself from bursting out laughing when she was introduced to Ezekial.

Interesting new character. I thought it was interesting later in the episode when he fully acknowledged to Carol that he was playing a part because that community needed a leader.

Carol's overly enthusiastic act was getting pretty bad. Fucking dial it down, you're not in Willy Wonka's factory. Good that Ezekiel immediately saw through it.

Re: The Walking Dead (S7E02) -- "The Well" -- 10/30/16

Having seen a couple of communities that are under the thumb of the Saviors (Hilltop and now the Kingdom) ... is it really that bad of an arrangement? Despite Neegan's "tax", the quality of life for everyone seems about as good as it can get in the world of the zombie apocalypse. People are well-fed, relatively happy. The Saviors are the devils they know ... and I would assume the arrangement keeps them safe from the threat of any other human group (since Neegan would most likely fight to defend his food sources).

Yeah, people aren't completely free. But in this world, I would gladly sacrifice some freedom for being able to live comfortably.

I'd assume cooking the meat would probably kill the bacteria.

The terminus folks didn't get sick from eating people, and everyone is technically infected.

Last Monday TWD was the talk of work, and among friends. It was everywhere. Today, nothing.

What a momentum killer.

Go figure, a lighter TWD episode no one gives a crap about or has anything to say, yet one of the most brutal and violent episodes of the entire series brought so much uproar.

Maybe everyone that claimed they would stop watching actually did.

Carol's façade was a little over the top, a la the awe of Dorothy in Oz.

I'm really tired of the whole "I'm a character who has experienced some trauma, and even though there is an entire support system here and everyone is experiencing the same thing, I'm going to act like I'm the only person EVER to feel this way and be a total pain in the ass about it" schtick.

No coincidence Chloe Bennett was a guest, as she's playing the same tired character on SHIELD these days.

Carol has really seemed off-model ever since the Wolf attack. It's like the writers wanted to do some kind of PTSD arc with a character and gave it to Carol because there wasn't any kind of character arc for her post-Alexandria.

I always like the quieter episodes like this that have alot of symbolism to it. Carol & Ezekiel conversation was about 2 people pulling their mask and showing who they really are.

I still don't know what to think of Ezekiel (I don't read the comics) as I'm interested to see where they go with him, Negan and our group.

What a shitty episode.

I wasn't expecting anything huge or action-filled after last week, but I almost slipped into a coma watching this.

I've never really been a fan of Carol but she's straight up insufferable now. Would not be sad to see her meet Lucille.

Every living person is dealing with the zombie apocalypse, living under near constant threat of death (or worse), and has lost most everyone they have ever known or loved, but I'm Carol look at me.

Didn't Carol try to quietly leave? It's not her fault everyone else is a busybody. In fact, she's tried to do this multiple times but someone always takes it upon themselves to go get her back.

Replace the monitor and chair with a big screen and a couch - and that pretty much sums it up (although I'm sure I have a bigger dick than that guy).

It's gotten ridiculous. Why is everyone so obsessed with trying to get Carol to stay where she is? Hell, she's even at this "Kingdom" for only a couple days and the "King" (who barely knows her) seems to have trouble letting her go. Does Carol have a magic pussy that all guys are trying to bang?

I don't think I can take an entire season of Ezekial talking like a LARPer. It was nice to see the curtain pulled back on that for a bit at the end.

Wow, I had the complete opposite reaction to this episode. I loved just about every minute of it, and wish TWD would focus more on the ones who are making life after the apocalypse work for the better.

I was actually moved by Ezekiel's talk with Carol about his life, his relationship with Shiva, and his goals for the community. Let's focus on these guys for a while....

This article is slanted towards GOT, but I gotta agree with the point. GOT juggles multiple storylines in 1 episode no problem. TWD could benefit from trying, rather than full stand alone episodes, where nothing happens.

You could have had Negan swinging the bat, juxtaposed with Medieval Times Ezekiel.
