Fuck me sideways - another action packed episode, with some serious depth. They've also fast forwarded this from The Fall to Night Eternal, if I remember correctly.

Gus and his mom's storyline is at an end. That opening sequence was fucked up! Quinlan smoking fools out, with some assistance of The Ancient Ones - damn, that was ill shit. Oh, and I even managed to get an erection during Dutch's rolepaly. She's so fucking hot.

2 more episodes and we're done for the the year!

What kind of suitcase bomb makes an explosion that big? I was originally thinking it was a silver bomb, but that would have been too far away (and with a bunch of bodies in between) to hurt the Ancients. I'm surprised the Ancients just sat there and let Eichhorst activate the suitcase. Once they got engaged though they kicked some butt. The Ancient's minions were pretty good too.

They explain it in the books - the bombs and the contents. I don't recall if they were dirty bombs or a mix of both, etc. I'm also wanting to say that a lot of the those buildings that collapsed due to the foundations also being messed with and possibly triggered, because they had more bombs attached. I don't remember exactly, though.

The ending was cool with Quinlan and The Ancients kicking ass. I didn't care for Dutch and Eph hooking up though. She's better with Fet.

Probably more bombs in the general area. I think back to that recent episode where the Master started using suicide bombers. Will be interesting to see who, if anybody, makes it out alive.

Another episode that makes it clear just how much better this series would be without Gus/Angel and the bi-sexual raccoon. The scenes without those three were pure go... silver.

Nah, I think they're good in grounding the show.

Grounding it to a halt? Yes, they are awesome at it.

Gus is probably my favorite character on the show aside from Quinlan.

So I guess Quinlan made it out alive or whatever he technically is?

What exactly happened when Dutch had that reaction to the audio recording? Why was Eph less affected?

Dutch said sometime about age, causing Eph to have less of a reaction, which made very little sense. But they had to come up with something so one could save the other. Would have been awesome to have them both inadvertently kill themselves, but then we would lose two main characters.

Playing the Master's signal is one thing but the speakers would've had to pump out enough energy to cause all the objects to move.
