It's official.
Not sure where this is going, but the stuff with Teddy in the mountains was sure creepy. And you're seeing Deloris acting on her memories now.
Don't care for Jeffrey Wright's dead kid backstory at all.

Didn't care as much for this episode as the last two, seemed like a lot of the same from what we saw in the last episode. Interesting to see about how "Arnold" plays out, but I hope they don't stall too much with the way the hosts are remembering things.

It was bugging me trying to figure out where I recognized that chick in the picture was from. She was on Season 5 of Shameless. She was good in this episode.

seemed kind of like the start of the story line Hopkins' character rejected in the last ep. Then again it sounds like the park has a ran of ton past story lines and hints of them can show up now for some reason.
as for Teddy.. hey he made it past a shoot out or two this time!
that's better then his runs in the first 2 eps. I can't wait for the ep where he makes it all the way to the last min or "wins" a story line. Yet in the last second gets hit by a run away stage coach or whatever is the wild west version of a random bus out of no where.
The story line of the dead kid is a little out of place but maybe the writers will tie it all back in later on.

I had to imdb a couple of the actors since it was driving me crazy not remembering where i knew them from. One was the dark haired girl who went out into the field with the other dude, she was on Raising Hope. The other was the white hat main guy who was a McPoyle from Always Sunny.
So were the guys who killed Teddy guests since his shots didnt seem to hurt them?

The show's pace seemed to slow down a bit this week.
Interesting how bullets just seemed to harmlessly bounce of Ed Harris' character in the last episode, but in this episode the guy with the white hat (Jimmi Simpson's character) was knocked on his ass when he was shot. Seemed odd, but maybe the man in black is simply accustomed to what the bullets feel like.

Anyway, at the end, his friend mentioned it costs $40k a day to be at Westworld. And all he wanted to do was drink at a bar and bang hookers? That's some expensive tail.

I was thinking the same thing. The hosts are probably programmed to shoot at the shoulder. Harris could be a masochist or is wearing something under his clothes, if allowed to bring in.

I wonder if Steven Ogg will be a recurring host or if the show's creators thought it would be fun to give a GTA actor a cameo, given the game's influence?

It is nice to see that the bullets the guests get shot with are doing a little more damage than before. Was it only the Man in Black that we saw get shot before this? Maybe he's just so used to it that it doesn't faze him, or he's got some sort of special admin powers or something. Or the show just decided to amp it up a bit.
Oh, and yeah $40k a day? Fuck that shit. Maybe it's so far in the future there's been some hyper-inflation or something? Otherwise, I'm pretty sure games and VR by then would be pretty damn mind blowing as a replacement.

The games influence? To attract an audience? Cause he currently has a role on The Walking Dead also. I think it has more to do with the fact that his star is rising more than anything.

Didn't particularly care for this week's episode. A couple advancements, but nothing terribly substantial. The 'stray' subplot was interesting I guess, we'll see how important it ends up being or not. The Westworld effect on both robots and humans is evolving, that much is clear.

Really digging this show.
I wonder if we'll see the other worlds in this HBO series, Medieval World and Roman World....or if HBO is thinking nah, we already have two series like that (GoT and Rome). Also wonder what kind of life expectancy this show has, you'd think management and the production team have discussed that. I'm sure it costs a ton to make.
I'm guessing it lasts 3 seasons.

I just love the atmosphere of the show. Some have mentioned this episode being slower, but I enjoyed it. I know I like a show when I deliberately don't check my cellphone during it, and this is one of those shows.

One thing is that at some point it's inevitable that
Since that will change the entire dynamic of the show, I think they need to really spend a lot of time in the current state.
