Re: Scorpion (CBS) -- Season 3 Thread -- Premieres 10/3/16
Finally finished the 3rd season yesterday.
Binged the last 7 episodes in 1 day
I'll break down my thoughts on the season like this:
Positives:
The team still has good chemistry including Robert Patrick.
I loved it when Ralph wanted to kick Walter's ass for being such a weak pussy and pushing Paige away/firing her in the last few episodes.
Half naked Kat McPhee in the finale.
Happy and Toby are the strangest married couple, yet I find them very amusing.
It was silly as hell, but I thought the last 3 episode arc with the team being stranded on that island was the most entertaining episodes of the season.
I know Corvin hates Walter and Paige together, but I'm kind of glad the will they or won't they thing is over. He finally manned up near the end and stopped being a pussy with the push of many including Cabe.
Negatives:
Some of the cases of the week were flat out dumb, ridiculous and tedious to watch. You have to accept that this show is 90% fantasy/science fiction.
Walter was a weak pussy for 95% of the season.
Walter was also a arrogant dickhead for 95% of the season
Tim was dead weight. Glad he was written out.
It was a frustrating season overall.
I also realized that this like many other procedurals is not really a show that has continuous interesting plot points that can be talked about weekly. Hence, that's why interest in this has fallen off since the 1st season.
