Most people here liked the second episode better than the first.

I usually let shows develop then jump in if they are good. This one has a plotline I love so I'm in. The pilot, and now the second episode which I saw tonight have their flaws. But they have just enough right I'm going to stick with it.

Not bad

This show reminds us that the sad fact is that time travel will never be possible because if it was, why hasn't someone from the future come back to visit us here ?

Are you saying a time traveler would announce they're from the future? Who'd believe them?

I'm trying to understand how he can say it's a fact (though it most likely is), sad or not.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson asked that question in a recent episode (titled "Time Travel) on StarTalk. One response was, "Maybe they have and just didn't let us know of their presence." Then there was the speculation that perhaps people who are far ahead of their time (think Einstein) might be far ahead of their time for a reason (as in, they're from the future). As I was watching the episode, I ended up with the normal time travel headaches centered around this basic question: Does the possibility of time travel (and the fact that from the POV of a proton, all "time" happens instantaneously) mean that everything that ever will happen already has? Because if not, the simplest answer for why we haven't been visited by people from the future is because the future hasn't happened yet.

I liked the pilot episode, but there were some "meh" moments for me really. I anticipated to see more of Goran Visnjic, but instead got a glimpse of him, just being a badass.
Then I thought to myself, the hype with Goran has been overblown... Next week same time, I go to watch Timeless. Pretty much the same story, but this time more screen time with Goran. I haven'h had the time since, so really hope that there is more of a chemistry between "our 3 little heroes" and the "main antagonist".

He gets a little more screen time with each episode however his job is to be mysterious so not much he says or does makes any sense at this point. Other than the underlying theme he is claiming to make things right, we don't know much about him.

I'm enjoying the set pieces and the theme even if the story is lackluster at this point. This past episode with Ian Flemming I thought gave the best parts in the previews.

I'm with you, more or less. I've still got it in my DVR, and the episodes have been lightly entertaining in a "Time Tunnel" sort of way (which is the same thing they're doing on "Legends of Tomorrow"). However, I kind of wonder when I'll just give up on it for being tepid and formulaic. Obviously, -much like "12 Monkeys", -they can change up the storyline by changing the timeline, and never really solve anything until the last episode.
