Okay, I'll say Buck Rogers was also an incorrect answer and move on. So the standings after that change are:
brainee -41

kenbuzz -38
majorjoe23 -38

wishbone -31
buckeyes8604 -29
Shannon Nutt -29
mwbmis -28
Abob Teff -27
Damfino -26

I'm fine either way with this. Since the Buck Rogers and BSG "movies" were just theatrically released pilots, it's not really correct to say the series were based off the movie.
I think the Caprica answer was meaning it was based off that first 70s BSG movie ... kind of a doubly fuzzy answer.

ALIEN Nation! It's in the title for fuck's sake! What is wrong with you people!
I believe I did ... too lazy to go look though.
Preach! This was the actual correct answer. Although I didn't care for the version posted.
I guess the debate is the wording of the question, but I would say even Caprica should be accepted -- without the BSG movie it wouldn't exist. In fact, IF you buy the argument (I don't) that BSG and Buck Rogers are incorrect since the movie was the launch - not inspiration - then you would have to accept Caprica as correct.
