Ain't gonna get more entries if ya ain't on the first page

Still got some openings for this game.

While we wait for more entries, I'd like to get some opinions on question #13. It reads: Name a robot featured in a science fiction TV series.

Looking at the answers, I thought I'd ask the players what should count as "featured." If the robot made only a couple of appearances on a series, should it be a correct answer?

Sure. Otherwise you should have phrased the question differently (like specify you wanted a series regular). I think the robot just has to have a name or another clear way of distinguishing it.

Since the question doesn't specify "lead character" or "appearing in multiple episodes", as long as the robot is "featured" in at least one show it should be correct.

I actually tend to agree and was leaning toward scoring it that way, but thought it would be worth putting out for discussion - to keep the thread active if nothing else.

It'd be moot if there were no more players, though. It wouldn't be much of a game with 10.

I was gone for awhile and swamped when I got back. Will submit answers tonight! I'd recommend holding the game until you get more players ...

I would disagree since the question says series, not episode.

It's a shame so many great shows won't get mentioned. Another shame that I don't watch the ones specifically mentioned.

Yeah, I submitted without having seen many of the shows that got their own question. Not saying they're obscure shows, just that I haven't gotten around to them.

(OK, I did watch a couple episodes of LEXX, but even the titillation angle wasn't enough to keep me watching.)

Lexx was such an odd and erratic series. When good, there was nothing else quite like it (though the tone, humor, and look of the show are not for everyone). But when bad, it was awful (and that last season on SciFi was mostly really really bad). And if you watched episodes on US television you had the nudity edited out.

I watched the DVDs, and I'm pretty sure those shower scenes were edited.

Hey Sheep! Get your answers in! This has the makings of an epic tragedy. Not one of those effed-up sick and twisted tragedies that we saw recently, but a true Greek tragedy of epic proportions. It will be fun!
