I've thought before the final episode will be a murder mystery. Who killed Sheldon. Everyone has motive, everyone has opportunity, everyone has the means. Who did it?

The new situation for Sheldon and Amy provided the basis for some really good comedy and I am interested in seeing where that story goes (not something that I can usually say for TBBT). I especially liked how they used the flash photography joke.
If you think Sheldon is insufferable and unbearable to watch, stop watching the fucking show. He is not going to change and that is what the show is about for chrissakes.

Just an FYI, this moves back to it's regular time on Thursdays this week now that TNF is over on CBS.

I haven't watched tonight's episode yet but I'm caught up otherwise. I'll say that this season has been better than the last so far. Seems more consistently funny and I enjoy most of the characters other than Raj who just seems stagnant and like he's going nowhere.

Wasn't very impressed with the 10/27 episode. The comic con stuff was amusing, but the pregnancy jokes weren't. Looks like were going to get a season/half season of typical sitcom pregnancy antics. I also prefer it when the whole cast is together.

I hate them making Raj single...again.

It almost seems like they're making the show split between Leonard/Penny and Sheldon/Amy as one group and Howard/Bernadette/Raj as a separate group this year. Howard has had some interaction with Leonard and Sheldon but there's been very little interaction between all the members of the core cast.

Was I the only one who had to basically record an entire block of 3 hours (fortunately, I planned to watch all the shows airing during this time anyway)? My tivo guide threw up one of those to be announced messages and I knew to record because it would be a night of new tv. The programming for the other channels was not screwed up on my tivo guide.

Honestly you might not be very far off. I could see Howard and Bernadette plus the baby as a spinoff with Raj as a recurring character. Since there's talks about a spinoff when the show ends maybe they're testing the waters a bit. In some ways it almost feels like two separate shows at the moment with the split of the characters.

The whole scene with Sheldon and Leonard speaking Klingon and Penny and Amy speaking their own language to hide what they were saying from each other could have been something that made me roll my eyes but instead I admit that the scene(s) that needed subtitles were indeed very funny.

Well I think that seems like the most likely spinoff to set up. I'm not sure if I'd like it because truthfully Howard and Raj are both kind of meh characters on their own but together they're a bit better. Bernadette bumps them up by being entertaining.
I think anything with Sheldon and Amy is out since Parsons seems to be the one wanting to be done with the show. Leonard and Penny has been done to death the entire series so I think they'd be less likely for a spinoff. Truthfully I'm not overly excited about the prospect of a spinoff in general but my guess is that CBS will want to try and continue the show in some fashion by doing one.

I actually liked this last episode. The scene with the two languages was kinda fun and they actually allowed the characters to grow a little. The little touches showing why Amy is actually really good for Sheldon (the lullaby, the intellectual challenges) were well done, even if we should have seen some of them earlier.

Parsons and Cuoco are very close in real life, and they will decide together when the show ends.
At this point both have been making $20+ million per season for a few years, and are in for a piece of the syndication profits as well.
I believe they have the awareness to know that while the show is still very popular, it has peaked, and 200+ episodes is a huge accomplishment.
Parsons is in his 40s. His sister and mother are both teachers. I think he is ready to spend his effort on more meaningful work. His father died young, and I think that would have Jim itching to take his wealth and go live life. Plus he knows that any time he wants, he can get another TV series (and not have to play what is basically a one-note character).
Cuoco is just 30, but she has been working steadily on TV series (8 Simple Rules, Charmed, Big Bang) since she was 16. Marrying and divorcing within a year just shows how fucked up her personal life is, so she has to be ready for a break.
As for a Howard/Bernie/Raj spin-off, I wouldn't put it past CBS to try it, but I cannot imagine a less appealing combination of characters to star on a show of their own.

None of the spin-off ideas seem appealing. I wouldn't tune in personally, and I've said for the last few years TBBT seems like it ran out of ideas and has completely changed the dynamic of the show in which got people into it in the first place.
Things really changed when it went from nerds doing nerdy things and referencing other nerdy shows/movies/games to being about these nerds who all 'hooked' up and try to integrate and grow their relationships.
I'll keep watching TBBT till they end it, but I can't see myself tuning into any kind of spin-off, and honestly I think it's time for the show to come to an end.

I think howard has the ability for a lot of great physical comedy. Perhaps a move east can be a reverse frasier spinoff. Maybe have him work in houston or florida for the space program, or have bernie move east for something. I think there is some possibilities there.'
If you see simon in florence foster jekins, he is excellent, and his range is strong.
This weeks language stuff was very funny
