Re: Blindspot (S2E09) -- Fall Finale -- "Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform" -- 11/16/16

C4 Plastic explosives at $18.93 / LB and they ordered 500 pounds? That had to be the bargain of the century.

And they only ordered enough to let the building fall, not completely destroy it.

I think it is obvious who got shot at the end.

Re: Blindspot (S2E09) -- Fall Finale -- "Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform" -- 11/16/16

Good midseason finale. Probably one of the better episodes of the 1st half of the season.

I'm guessing Patterson got shot. It would be way too obvious if Borden was the one. Borden will probably be on the run afterwards.

Probably the worst kept secret that Borden was the Sandstorm mole.

The fake phone call to get Weller away did surprise me, but not sure what Shepherd was aiming to do with him.

It's been obvious for some time they're trying to set up Reade and Zapata to get closer.

The fake phone call for Weller surprised me too. When it first happened, I was like, why did the writers interrupt an upcoming action sequence just for this dumb baby storyline?

And then we find out it was a ruse. Touche writers, touche.

I wonder if they want him to take over leadership of Sandstorm?

Old players in new roles should give this show new vigor, but I find myself very meh over it.

So there is a phase two, but the last handful of episodes were some elaborate test for Jane?

And suddenly the NSA has a secret mole in Sandstorm? How convenient!

All the moles, over the top villain cliches, and whinging remind me of Clark bursting into Alex's office. It became so repetitive it was eyerolling. I feel the same way about these activities.

I thought was a good episode to reset the series. Loved the doctor turning out to be quite the bad ass and the agent basically shutting down the other after that kiss. Gonna feel quite the opposite if she gives in further down the line.

Great episode. Really solid conclusion to the midseason finale.

Good action and that shootout in the diner was pretty crazy.

Poor Reade, I had a feeling that Zapata was going to shoot him down. (Although I'm sure they will re-visit it again later)

Shepherd and Borden are still on the run so they still have a lot of loose ends going into the 2nd half of the season.

I'm thinking about dropping this show. I've only watched the last 2 eps but they've lacked the ridiculous action sequences that are in most other eps.

I think Sandstorm is building a replica of the FBI building.

So I just saw this episode tonight. No new episode this week.

WTF with that ending? That was a bad photoshop job with Shepherd being present at Weller's High School in that photo. She looked exactly the same as she does now and Weller was what 17 in that photo?

Other than that, it was a decent episode. Roman's relationship with Jane is going to blow up once he finds out she wiped her memory.

Re: Blindspot (S2E13) -- "Name Not One Man" -- 2/8/17

The case of the week, domestic terror plot, was meh. Ending was very anticlimactic. She gave up way too easily.

But the tie-ins to the overall plot were good. Shepherd really showed what a psycho she is. Not sure the tie in to Wellers past really works. She looks exactly the same.

And now Reade is doing coke? I'm guessing Zapata is going to have to save him from this downward spiral and eventually she will realize that she cares more about him.

Rich Dotcom should just become a member of the team. He is always gold when he is on.

Re: Blindspot (S2E14) -- "Borrow or Rob" -- 2/15/17

at Weller being Rich Dotcom's prostitute

"This guy has got prostitute written all over him"

That scene alone was gold. And then he got shot twice.

He needs to appear more.

I was actually rooting against this one and was hoping this whole thing with their "mom' would get resolved in the next few weeks. Maybe they still will and they will move on to some other season long storyline.
