I liked the show and agree with the "Scream + Mean Girls, with a healthy dose of Heathers" comparison. However, I also agree that 13 episodes was a bit too much. 8 episodes woulda been much better, IMHO. Or maybe 10, tops. I also can't believe the dialogue they got away with on network TV.

The dialogue was the best part of every episode. Far more sexually explicit language than any R rated movie I can remember. The lack of the word fuck doesn't make it any less sexual, but apparently the family values police were either too stupid to know what the chracters were talking about or asleep at the wheel.
