I think I've missed this week's episode.
Saturday's episode, -which was already shown in the special, -started early, and it was in a fifteen-minute slot, as is next week's. Hardly worth bothering with.

Well I had no idea this actually aired.

Did CN ever adveretise it I never saw any commercials.
And DisneyXd is doing Spider-man again?

I thought the last couple seasons of the current SM show was already really good.

I had no idea this aired yet either. I'll have to find it on demand or something.

They are apparently ending Ultimate Spider-Man and The Avengers. Ultimate Spider-Man just had its last episode.

I believe they are rebooting both shows.

Hey they have to keep it accurate to the comics. Soon they'll be rebooting every 10 episodes.

Watched the long episode and it was pretty good.

Have more than the three episode thing aired?
All thats on demand is the 3 parter and the 1 st two shows.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

Well they finally aired the space cabbie episode last week. Like others have said, the front of the episode got cut off, so I just watched it on demand. If that was your intent, CN, Mission accomplished. Idiots.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

I thinght my recording cut off the front too but I rewound it and it went to the beginning and played the entire ting which btw was terrible.

I hate the minimalist style of animation.
The cabbie ep was dumb.
Superman picks up the mic and randomly says, "Hey JL I need your help."

Does the JL listen to every channel that has audio going out.

I'm not liking this show yet.

The Shazam show was ok but it feels like their going for preschool age kids on this.

What's the purpose of the shitty scheduling? I mean, doesn't CN want us to watch this show? Or any show on their channel?

I've read that they released at least 20 episodes outside the U.S. but I've only seen a handful.

The target age for this is supposedly 8-12.

They introduced an exuberant teenage Firestorm in the newest episode.

I don't think there is much continuity in this series. This is not Justice League Unlimited.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

I think the only continuity was the Shazam episodes which they aired all together anyway. But there are two separate episode orders online, one has the Shazam episodes as 1-4 followed by cabbie and Firestorm, another saying something different.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

According to Wiki there are 52 episodes in this first season and only 10 have aired in the U.S. The U.K. and Poland seems to have aired more than that.

I only see six that aired here so far? The four parter Shazam one, the cabbie one and firestorm.

Well, that's kinda true to the original character, though at this point that was a long time ago. This is like a love letter to the 80s. It really reminds me of an extension to Brave and the Bold.

I dunno, I watched one with Superman and Wonder Woman and there was a lot of innuendo.

So far, despite the scheduling shenanigans, I love this show. I'd love it even more in a standard, 30 minute format, but whatever.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

The most recent episode was weird. They put characters together I've never seen in this combination. Lex Luthor invades Paradise Island with Circe. Wonder Woman gets trapped. Superman and Batman show up out of nowhere to save her.

The gist of it was that Luthor had seduced Circe and was using her to get some magical object.

I thought that was great. Luthor with the hair, the lasso of truth being used, the marks on Luthor where Circe was hitting him, Wonder Woman referring to her sidekicks, etc. I don't even mind the whole chauvinistic thing, the fact that men could land on Paradise Island, or the fact that Supes and Bats hadn't even heard of Circe before. I'm even getting used to WW's hair. The main problem I have are that the episodes are so short, we get these Deus ex machina moments constantly.

I really like it, which means cancellation will come soon enough, I guess.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

Anyone still watching or recording this?

The episode order list is odd on the Dtv guide.
Thr last several months they were listed with only the episode title.
This weeks ep went back to including the episode number.

Re: Justice League Action (CN) (201?)

The ratings haven't been very good from what I understand. I don't know how the associated toy line is doing. Many people are upset with Cartoon Network's recent scheduling, which has been narrowed to a handful of shows getting numerous repeats.

It's not a bad series but this is aimed at a younger demo than most DC shows. More episodes have already aired overseas.

I think DC is waiting for their upcoming streaming platform.
