Apparently Florida, where it's filmed, is a really expensive place to make movies and TV shows and the State Legislature killed the entertainment tax program earlier this year.

Netflix decided in July to keep Bloodline in Florida for the 3rd season, despite losing the tax credits.

But, as some of you know, they cut the episode order from 13 to 10 to save money.
Sounds like Netflix decided to give it 1 last season even though they got screwed over by the Florida accountants.

I loved Season 1, and really liked Season 2. But the ending with Kevin killing Marco reeks of a soap opera now instead of a drama.
I think the difference between Season 1 and Season 2 is that in the first season they really delved into each character (mostly focusing John & Danny) and you understood their motivations. The show was setup to be a great character drama rather then a Soap Opera Drama.
But Season 2 they focused less on the characters, and more about the plot and shocking you with new revelations. I guess Meg will kill someone next year, and all of their asses will be in jail for the Series Finale!

Nice. I'm glad they are bringing this to a close even though the story has already been drawn out much longer than necessary.

Season 1 was still great, Season 2 was good, and Season 3 should be entertaining because they will wrap everything up.
