The first season started off rocky to me, but I definitely was glad I stuck with it.

Bump

The 2nd season is available as of today for anyone here who wants to binge it this weekend.

I still haven't even started season 1 yet. :( I really want to watch it as Kyle Chandler is one of my favorite actors.

I finished it and thought it was great. Just as good as season 1. Gonna be a long wait until season 3. :(

I'm fairly confident you will love it. Chandler is fantastic, as are many others. S1 is awesome.

Started this season. 2 eps in and things are already so tense I can't imagine where it's all going to go.

S1 starts off extremely, extremely slow, but it does eventually pay off.

Just finished S2. S1 was great. S2 might have been better. This is a better house of cards.

I'm 2 in and struggling. Mostly I'm having difficulty remembering all that happened last year.

Yea, I had the same issues with trying to figure out stuff because I couldn't remember from S1. I hate long breaks in between seasons.

I thought S2 was ok. The more and more we delve into the characters, the more I realise that there really isn't a single major character in the show that's likeable.

I found myself frustrated with characters doing stupid things. The worst is Kevin. I don't think there's a single thing he's done that wasn't stupid.

I was annoyed that things weren't wrapped up this season. I think they're stretching things out way too long... and now S2 ending with Kevin's really stupid action - it makes me think they're going to stretch this story line out into a 4th season.

I dont think things are ever going to "wrapped up." It looks like John is going to win the election and that will help him cover things up. Then he's gonna have some issues with his shady benefactor.

I thought season 2 was great. Actually, I thought it was a definitive improvement over the first. Can't wait for season 3.

I really enjoyed this season. What was the object John pulled out of his shirt pocket, then dropped on the floor, when he was in the shack with Eric? I can't for the life of me place that object.

It was the key to the handcuffs.

I really enjoyed this one as well. Season one had a better final episode but this was a better season overall IMO.

Finished it. Didn't really like the direction they went at the end, esp. with Kevin and Meg, but I guess it seemed plausible. I will say that John Leguizamo was absolutely fantastic--totally awesome addition.

Most definitely - after the second episode I had a headache from clenching my jaw for the better part of an hour. Tremendous amount of tension with no humor to ratchet it down...not complaining either - that's a pretty great feat to keep up that level of tension and still be extremely watchable.

That's cool. But I have a hard time imagining a scenario where this story has any more than 10 episodes worth of narrative to fill.

Yeah I agree. LOVE the show, but if Meg
Spoiler:
really told the mom who killed Danny
and with Kevin
Spoiler:
having apparently murdered Marcos
it's hard to see that spanning 10 eps. Plus John is
Spoiler:
on the run or out for a very long drive
so who knows where that's going. Still, it's a great how, and I'll hope for the best.

Finally finished S2 and thought it was great - just as good as the first season, for people who like slow character dramas.

The only real weakness that stood out to me was Jacinda Barrett's accent - she is beautiful and a fine actress, but just can't cover up her Australian accent, and it took me out of her scenes. Just making her character Australian would have fixed it.

They are ratcheting up into some "Shield"-esque level coverups and contortions at this point, with John becoming the new Vic Mackey, except with hair. Looking forward to S3.

I'm OK with that. LOVE the show, but no need to drag it on.

Bloodline was actually cancelled according to the article (if you read it) They creators had a 5-6 season arc planned.

Main reason appears to be Florida slashing their entertainment tax program, which made the show cost more. Hence, episode order was cut.

Wow this is disappointing. I enjoyed he show a lot

Wow...if it really is 7-8 million an episode I get why they pulled the plug. If you spend Game Of Thrones money on each episode you need GOT buzz to go along with the financial costs and Bloodlines did not even have half the buzz of a mediocre GOT episode, much less a top notch episode.
