On balance the show has had some improvements. Things I've liked:
1) more substance and inclusion of the Doctor
2) they don't let plot threads dangle
3) the characters have started to gain some personality
Big development with Mayfair, plus seeing how all of the evidence links together. However, I'm suspect that the ADA was able to piece all of that together so quickly.

That was a whole lot of prep to setup Mayfair eh? And a lot of angst for Jane. Still not sure what this all leads to.

I totally forgot to mention. Apparently the writers never bothered watching Die Hard. If you ran up 70 flights of stairs and climbed through vents you'd be:
1) winded
2) drenched in sweat

Excellent episode. The music was on point for this episode.
Great ending too. Jane's facial expression at the end was perfect.
