I'm so happy to have discovered Banshee and Strike Back (Strike back was on my radar when it first aired but i just never got around to watching it)

Anyway, loving these shows and i have over 70 eps to catchup, happy days

The Knick is the only other one. None of the others have started.

Outcast is starting soon, a horror series about demonic possession from the creator of The Walking Dead.

Other than that, I don't know. Skinemax?

I like an older show, Hunted, but I haven't seen all the episodes.

Banshee and Strike Back are in a class by themselves, though.

I thought it was decent even though it was cancelled after one season.

Pretty sure Majorjoe was taking the piss there, as I almost added "literally" when describing Rebecca Blumhagen as 20 pounds of cute. If you're the type who likes a girl "with a little meat on her bones", Becks ain't the one for you.

And however convoluted the premise might have to be to make it happen, aren't we begging for CInemax to do a few Banshee/Strike Back crossover episodes ?

Cinemax is still very early in it's scripted TV show history. I realize that not many people here subscribe to it because it's not a cheap channel to watch only Banshee, The Knick, soft core porn and an occasional movie. The audience for it is very small.

They have two more new shows coming at this year. As mentioned, Outcast this June and eventually Quarry, from one of the Producers of Banshee. Quarry has no air date yet.

The adult shows and movies they carry show no D or P so it is not really worth it.

Duh, that's why it's softcore porn.

If you want hardcore stuff, Directv has plenty of those channels.

That's why I said in my post Cinemax is kind of an expensive premium channel for only a few scripted shows, some movies and softcore porn. I'm not surprised that a lot of the Strike Back, Banshee and The Knick threads were mostly quiet.

I haven't seen any of the shows on Cinemax, but I just bought the first seasons of the Knick, Banshee, and Strike Back on blu-ray when they were on sale at Best Buy last week for 9.99. I'm excited to start watching them.

I know but some people make a big deal out of those movies when those are tame compared to what else it out there online.

Without getting into a detailed debate about soft vs. hardcore porn (although then again, it's wholly appropriate when discussing a channel that is widely referred to as "Skinemax"), just speaking for myself I find that a lot of "what else is out there" that you mention can often get a little too close with the camera work if ya know what I'm saying. Sometimes a little less is preferred...

That's totally not true when you're talking about quality scripted fare like Banshee and Strike Back!

I am so loving Banshee and Strike back. I've also discovered the Unit ! so another 4 series of that

3 mega cool shows to catch up on. Problem is i'm neglecting my current shows an that's starting to backlog

It seems they don't show a lot of those movies or programs anymore. When they did most of the stuff was old from 2006.

Maybe it is like MTV where they are going away from what made them as a network.

Strike Back was good fun while it lasted.

It's coming back next year with a new cast.

We just binge watched Hunted & Strike Back on Amazon Prime. Highly recommend Strike Back if you haven't seen it.
