3rd episode not as good, a bit too posey for my liking
I want them to get stuck in throwing daggers at cool supervillians and cloaking the fuck outta people

awesome. thanks. wish my Optimum on demand was more forgiving. they put up new episodes, usually the day after, but only keep them for a day or two, maybe 3. some get a year. i don't understand why they do this, but it's damn frustrating if i want to keep up with a series on demand, rather than fill up DVR...

For some reason Comcast's X1 box doesn't list episode 3 as available on demand. This happens every time I try to watch a series via on demand rather than recording to the DVR.

Anyone still watching this? I just finished episode six. I'm liking it.
Here are some connections to the rest of the MCU shows I've spotted:
- Roxxon is kind of all over the place in the MCU. It was in the Iron Man movies (gas stations, race car sponsors, etc.). It was the parent company of Cybertek in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which was responsible for Deathlok and Centipede. Peggy Carter went up against Roxxon in Agent Carter, where they were up to nefarious dealings. In Daredevil they were involved with The Hand.
- It seems that the new energy source Roxxon discovered is the Darkforce, which was in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter.
- Detective O'Reilly is from Harlem. In Luke Cage season two Misty Knight mentioned a Detective O'Reilly that moved to New Orleans.
Any others?

We're still in and enjoying it. Darkforce eh? Wasn't sure yet where they were going with that part of the plot.

It's actually been more enjoyable than I expected. I'm still not sure I like this living memory power invented purely for TV. It's just a cheap visual that allows the writers to show out of narrative scenes.

From what I found she is a vigilante that works with C&D as well but more about revenge than justice. Mayhem she has claws that inject people with a gas that paralyzes and/or truth serum, immune to dagger's daggers, and can levitate/fly. That is what I found not sure if that will all be there next season.
Not sure if they will make her a villain or just another "hero" that clashes with C&D in an antagonist way.

Rand corporation and Stark Industries were also name dropped by the Roxxon Gulf exec guy.
I'm not sure I understood what happened in the finale. Did they both absorb the dark force or just redirect it into the sky? (maybe Space?). I assume tyrone teleported the pair to the roof of the superdome too.

Re: Marvel's Cloak and Dagger (Freeform) -- Series Thread -- premieres 6/7/18
Premiering on THURSDAY, APRIL 4, at 8:00 pm EST/PST with a two-hour episode, season two turns the heat up on our young heroes as Tyrone and Tandy try to find their place as more active heroes in this world. As they learn and grow emotionally, so will their skills. In season one, we saw Tandy and Ty dip their toes into the world of hopes and fears; this season, they will dive deeper into this metaphysical pool. With enhanced powers and a decision to make about the type of heroes they want to be, they make the choice to run into the danger, head first. They tackle a heartless vigilante and uncover an evil that's been preying on the young women of the city, as the show takes on more serious topics like gang violence and human trafficking.

Catching up on S2 right now. Really enjoying it, but I have a feeling this will be it's last season. Its too bad because it's better than any of the CW shows by far.
At least Emma Lahana gets a lot more screentime here.

Re: Marvel's Cloak and Dagger (Freeform) -- Series Thread -- premieres 6/7/18
It's an intelligent show and generally well-acted. The season's villain was certainly creative, but not enough to fill ten episodes. . Damn, this show is so low-key and somber. If you're going to do this type of show you really have to add something dynamic to the mix occasionally. Even this "Mayhem" character turned into a non-starter, just another personality for the detective character that wasn't particularly different than her regular personality. The show-runners say C&D will be more pro-active next season, but I've got to wonder if they have it in them.
