Looks good. I hope it gets a tin when it's released on BD or DVD to match all the ones I have.

Only thing missing was the theme song playing while the lions assembled...although, I could hear it playing in my head.

When Transformers hit it big, I was stunned we didn't get a Hollywood adaptation of the Voltron Lion Force soon after. That screamed for a big-budget blockbuster. The concept doesn't even require the typical Hollywood-style "smoothing" most properties need these days.

Wow, this looks great!

Transformers has been pretty much an evergreen property though, with just a few instances where toy production stopped. Voltron's had a few terrible cartoon revivals and an online only classic toy line that seemed to fizzle out. Considering how similar the story structure is, and how evergreen the property is, I'm kinda surprised Power Rangers took so long to get a Hollywood makeover.

I have no idea what Voltron is but I watched a bit of the first episode with the kids and we all enjoyed it.

Watched the first ep, which was over an hour long, and it was pretty solid.
It was weird

I didn't really like the first episode but it picks up after that. The show looks great. Some of the best animation I have seen. The characters are really good also. The main problem I had with the first episode which was more of a mini movie was the pacing. I also didn't like that aliens speak English but this show is probably targeted towards kids that might have trouble with subtitles.

I saw it earlier today. I will continue to watch. It looks good. Excellent animation.

So the black lion driver wears a black suit, but his name means white?

Its certainly looks better that Voltron Force from Nicktoons a few years back.

I can do without the corny sound affects and dopey slapstick but it was decent otherwise.

I could do without the same or similar "Voltron merges montage" each time but that was the schtick (sp) in the original as well. So far (up to Ep 3) like that they aren't rushing the plot (and actually have plot).

Watched the first two eps. It looks really good but , some of the humor seems out of place. Not a fan of them making a Coran into comic relief.
