I know I have to take some creative license with this show, but the whole S.T.A.R. Labs concept is my biggest beef that I cant get past. Great question about how do Cisco and Caitlin have income when the owner (the original Wells) of the Labs is now dead. What drives me crazier is that S.T.A.R. Labs is this huge facility with labs, computers, an advanced meta-human prison, medical unit, etc. yet Cisco and Caitlin are the only employees.

It also doesn't help that the establishing shots always make it look like it's a football stadium size int he middle of the city. You would think they would have done something about this big ol' real estate which is either operational or just simply there with a giant motion sensing automatic doors allowing any one to walk into their specific lab.

I figure Cisco just sells his tech indiscriminately to heroes and villains alike.
