Mike's granddaughter was 10 in BB so she should probably be 3-4 years old in BCS.

I really can't believe he ran the ad without approval though. I can't fathom that happening at any (normal, respectable) firm without the person getting fired immediately.

Oh yeah, I forgot he's not in witness protection, he's in the bad guy equivalent. I'll send my ending back to the writer's room for rewrites.

I just compared the granddaughter in this latest episode and in BB Season 5... and she only looks like 2 years older in BB.
Unless he's got another granddaughter, it's a big continuity error.

It's a continuity error, but who cares. In a time where people weren't expected to watch every episode in order, shows fucked up all the time, dropping characters with no mention whatsoever, contradicting basic background of the main characters.
Now we have this show, a successful spin off which is putting in a lot of minor details connecting to BB and to season one. So I can overlook this age difference.

Maybe they'll finally resolve Marie's kleptomania in a future episode of BCS where she tries to steal a Cinnabon.

Was she said to be ten? I guess I don't remember that.

This would be a better ending:
Saul working at the Cinnabon sees someone from behind wearing Walt's Heisenberg hat. He turns around to reveal Walt Jr. who now has all of the money that Walt left for him. Walt Jr. has tracked down Saul because he needs help with his burgeoning criminal empire.

But that means the Hank I was talking to must have been.... HIS GHOST!

I don't know. I think Gilligan builds stories on flimsy footings at times. The first was basing Breaking Bad on a public school teacher (of all people) who doesn't have health insurance. They have the best insurance. Now, I just cannot buy the fact that Saul would throw away that job, his company car, and most all his girlfriend just so he could be "Slippin' Jimmy" again.

His former business partners (Gretchen and Elliot) offered him a blank check to pay for an oncologist that wasn't part of his insurance network. Out of pride, he said "no," but he didn't want Skylar and Marie to know that he said "no" so he used his meth money to pay for that treatment, which was never intended to pay for treatment, but to leave a nest egg for his wife and kids after he died.
Did you even watch the first season?

They way things played out in this episode, seems like it's not just Saul "throwing away" that job too.
