Did you guys catch that deckhand with the hernia that caused his intestines to slip into his testicle sack? That's gotta hurt like hell. The leader of the band Machine Head had it happen to him on tour. He called it the "Guts in the Nuts tour." It got so bad he had to cancel the tour and get surgery in a hospital while on the road. He couldn't even get home.
That whole scene with the crew was kinda frat boy but funny at the same time. I wasn't surprised to see it on this show.

Looks like Jake hasn't cleaned up his act.

Jake Harris of television series “Deadliest Catch” is recovering in a hospital after a severe beating over the weekend.
Jake Harris’ brother, Cornelia Marie Captain Josh Harris, shared details of his brother’s attack in two live videos on the official Facebook page for Deadliest Catch - F/V Cornelia Marie.
Josh Harris said Jake was "jumped" Saturday at about 8 p.m. and was in an intensive care unit with a “cracked skull” and brain trauma.
The victim’s brother said Jake was beaten and then thrown out of a moving vehicle onto the side of the SR 526/the Mukilteo Speedway, but at this point Everett police only were able to confirm that a woman in another car saw Jake along the highway and called 911 to get help.
Medics arrived and checked out Jake Harris, who declined to go to the hospital or file a police report.
He was later taken to Providence Hospital in Everett by relatives, where he remains in the ICU.
Josh said Jake had gotten a ride home from a couple who had been at the Quil Ceda Creek Casino near Marysville. Everett police are investigating if there is any known connection between Harris and the couple who robbed and attacked him.
Josh said a man and a woman from Spokane are the suspects that Jake had identified and that the “word on the street” is that they had done such attacks before in which the victims were beaten and their money was stolen. He showed their pictures and named them in one of the two videos posted.
Police told KIRO 7 they are not ready to name the individuals as suspects or persons of interest at this point, the investigation is ongoing. At this point KIRO 7 News is not yet showing the video or pictures containing their names and photos.
Everett Police had not heard of any similar incidents. Police say the Harris family is cooperating with the investigation. Jake Harris has had past struggles with drug abuse as shown on "Deadliest Catch."
Harris was listed in satisfactory condition on Monday.
