I didn't like this as much as last week. I did like the "I will go Rocky 4 on you" line.

at how Palmer got rejected by Valentina, but she got swooped up by Snart. Thought it was a fun episode. Although it didn't really feel like the 80's. Surprised Savage was nowhere to be found in this one.
Loved the Rocky 4 line by Rory. That was hilarious. I'm really enjoying how Wentworth is playing Snart. Sarcastic and funny.
Looks like there's no going back for Rip since it appears the Time council wants him dead.

Snart and Rory are definitely the best characters on the show. Getting really tired of Stein and Jackson's bickering.
I'll keep watching, but this show isn't nearly as cool as I thought it would be.

I'm still liking it but if your show's big angle is time travel they should invest just a bit of effort into making it seem like they're in a certain era. Nothing about this episode said the 80s -- Moscow was its modern, moneyed version and the uniforms worn at the Pentagon were all wrong.

Plus, how was 1986 the height of the Cold War? It was almost the end. It seems like the Cuban Missile Crisis would have been the height.

Yeah, they totally blew the chance to make it really feel like 1986. Maybe in the next few episodes unless they jump again.
I too am tired of Firestorm in this one. Seeing the Flash last week only reminded us how much better the original duo was. LoT is the first time I've never liked Garber's work on TV.
And they seem to intentionally make Canary look dumpy. Why, I have no idea. Short of guest stars she is the only sex female appeal this show has got.

I thought it was fun. Snart and Rory are definitely the draw here(Ray is with his eternal optimism/enthusiasm is a close second). They are killing it on this show. That being said, their guns suck ass. I don't know if it's an FX budget thing or they don't want to show someone getting torched, but their aim is right up there with Stormtroopers. They never hit shit.
Add me to the 'really, Jefferson and Stein arguing again?' camp. They tried to add a little meaning to it this time but enough already.

I thought the soldiers with AKs vs a guy with a handheld flamethrower and another with a freeze gun was a bit hard to swallow, but I'll let it go for now.
The Kendra/Sara sparring sessions were cool.

It just continues to feel like the show is trying to serve too many characters. Unfortunately the two I would cut first are the two that are most essential to the overriding plot. I feel like the show would be better off if they could find a way to combine Ray with Rip and just have Ray be the one running the team.
I do agree that they need to find a better way to use Victor Garber. He's too consistently good to not be good in this.

I've never really gotten the Garber love, myself. The biggest problem in the show is Rip himself. Everything else has been working to varying degrees. Surprisingly enough, Captain Cold has practically carried this show. I had almost hated him on the Flash.

If it wasn't for Snart and Rory, I would have stopped watching by now. Honestly, I'm just not feeling the other characters at all. And I love the Firestorm character but I'm not digging the two bickering constantly at all...and is there a reason why they keep Firestorm so darn separated? Is it too expensive in effects to "keep them together"? If so, ditch the character and give me somebody else. At this point, I really wish they would just do a Rogues spinoff than whatever this is supposed to be.

The show is certainly light entertainment, but certainly as zesty as a morning shower.
