I thought this one was great. Loved this quip:
Cisco's rhetorical question with bravado: "Who's the greatest hacker in the world?"
Barry & Caitlin in unison: "Felicity Smoak."

The situation mostly writes itself and racing cars is not particularly expensive for television. That is why you see it recur over and over again on procedural shows.

Boy, this show just grinds to a halt during the Wally-Iris scenes.
The one good thing that could come from Patty leaving would be the episode room to reinsert Caitlin into Barry's storyline. Her character has been floundering this year next to dull Jay.

Jay as a whole has been as boring as fuck. I'm sorry, but they really did a disservice to the character to do him like that. I know Johns just loves Barry and strokes that fan ego shit as much as he can, but come on.

I think they saw how excited fans got over seeing seeing Jay's helmet in the season finale and decided to throw fans a bone. I don't think Jay's participation in this season was thought out particularly well. His role has been disappointing.
They've also saddled Wally with a lot of emotional baggage that doesn't resemble the comic book version in any way.

Yeah, I didn't think they could get worse than Iris. But Wally has proved me wrong.
That said I actually enjoyed the Felicity joke and the overall continuation of the Zoom/Wells story. Glad they are going to have the team help him get back his daughter. For me Wells is the second best character on the show. Can't imagine it without him.

It sure does. They haven't given us any reason to care for that entire storyline.
That said, I thought they did a great job of bringing all the subplots into the main plot near the end of this episode. Tarpit, the street racing, Barry's losing his speedforce, Wally and his Dad concerned for Iris, etc.
