Very excited for this!! The wait did feel like forever but I'm definitely ready for more. I'll have to try to rewatch the first season prior to the new one.

I just noticed that there is a "Talking Saul" show scheduled right after the season premiere. I wonder if this is just for the first episode or will be after every episode. Will Chris Hardwick host it too? I would think he'd be busy doing @Midnight around that time (assuming it's done live).
I know they're also going to be doing "Talking Dead" after every episode of "Fear The Walking Dead" when it comes back. So I guess that for every hour of actual show on AMC, I will end up watching two hours of TV.

I'm pretty sure @midnight isn't live. I remember some of the panelists talking about the recording process.

Yeah, I know @midnight tapes earlier, but I'm not sure how much earlier. Talking Saul starts about an hour before @midnight. Maybe they are done by then but not sure how much time Chris would need to get ready for the Saul show.

For the record, @Midnight tapes around 2pm for about an hour when they get rolling.

As much as I like the show I don't think these after shows are completely necessary. Maybe after the season premiere and finale but doing one each episode seems like overkill. Guess we don't know if it's going to be a regular thing or not yet though but I could see it happening as I'm sure it's pretty cheap to produce and fills an hour timeslot.

Wait, people still watch those after shows? Ugh.
Yeah. I just ignore them since it's nothing more than show circle jerking.

It's cheap, "original" content and a way to get people to sit through commercials so they can see a commercial for next week's episode that they were going to watch anyhow.

Will these be available on Hulu or Netflix? I'm not getting AMC right now...
EDIT: Found my answer. Likely it'll be only on Netflix in Feb 2017 as it shows up 2 weeks prior to the new season: http://netflixlife.com/2016/02/01/wh...be-on-netflix/
And not on Hulu at all: http://www.bestofhulu.com/will-hulu-...ter-call-saul/

You can purchase the season a la carte via Amazon if that's an option for you. Although it will cost in the $30-40 something range for the season.

Just to correct myself. An HD season pass is actually $25.99. Season 2 will be 10 episodes.

I do agree with you that part of them are circle-jerks, but I'm still glad they have these types of shows. There is always little tidbits from the episode that they talk about it that may give another spin on it. The only thing is these type of shows don't need to be an hour as that's when they become bloated. A 1/2 hour show with 3 segments is enough to analyze an episode, and that is why I DVR them and FF past the circle-jerk stuff.

The guide listings for 2/22 are out now and it doesn't show a "Talking Saul" scheduled after the new episode. The new episode is repeated right after the first airing. So they're probably only doing it for the premiere (maybe the finale too?).

Deadline reported that Talking Saul will follow the premiere and finale episodes. Chris Hardwick will host.

Looking forward to getting more Saul backstory and how the sequence of events put him on a road that would eventually intersect with Gus, Heisenberg and Jesse. Expect it to be a bumpy tense ride.

I'm watching again on Netflix. I don't care about Saul/Jimmy's connection to Breaking Bad. This show is great.
Like Breaking Bad, it doesn't play fast. It requires patience and attention. And it's never a bore.
