The spoiler makes sense.

I'm guessing they left some stuff on the cutting room floor b/c clearly Abi was told they were voting out Keith, and she wasn't with Kelley and Keith. Finally. Good riddance.

Go Jeremy!

Could be. We know something unusual has to happen in the last episode since there seems to be one too many players left.

I think that was a reasonable move by Spencer. He's played a strong enough game, strategically and in challenges, that he shouldn't need to bring goats to the end in order to win. The only thing that could ruin him is jury sour grapes. And given how everyone has been playing, it would be the utmost in hypocrisy for anyone to play that card against him. And I really don't see this group doing that anyway.

Spoiler:
That seems unlikely to me. It looked more like something unexpected happens, and Jeff would have known that a final four was happening.

I wonder if it is Wentworth's idol and Jeremy's idol both being played, with the result that every single vote gets wiped out.

Can't believe people are buying into that "deserving" shit. It's a tv game show where there is no merit based casting reasons,Abi and anyone else on the cast deserve to be there just as much as anyone and maybe even more so this particular season as she was voted in by fans. Like imagine if someone snooty contestant on Jeopardy was said "Alex my simpleton opponent only went to stage college he does not deserve be here like myself who had a 4.0 at Princeton and contestant to 2 who went to Yale". I will be so happy when Jeremy slays Tasha and Spencer.

Abi: "I don't have to be with those crazy people anymore."

Better not look in the mirror.

Be there in week 1. Sure. Be there long after week 1, not a chance. If you don't like the idea of some contestants being more deserving of making it farther in the game, maybe you are watching the same show.

Glad Abi is gone. Should not have made it past the first few weeks.

As for the one player too may thing, I was wondering about the two idols that are still being held. Wonder if they will be played at the same time and it will result in two people being voted out.

Either that or the spoiler speculation posted above is comes true. I can see that happening as well, although I have to say, I think that's it's a pretty ridiculous move and basically screws all those involved. I would really take down the legitimacy of the end game a notch.

This was my initial thought as well.

Spoiler:
That would be interesting. I'm sure the producers considered that when they introduced multiple idols at the same time, but I wonder how it would play out.

I thought maybe the "never happened before" moment was every remaining tribe member voting for someone different. Although it would be cool if the votes split between Jeremy and Kelley and both played their idols. And then a third person would have immunity, meaning they'd have to re-vote and pick between three remaining players.

My speculation:

Spoiler:
Everyone other than Jeremy, Wentworth, and the winner of the immunity challenge would be tied, albeit at zero votes. In ties, everyone who is not in the tie gets to revote, and the people who are tied don't get to vote. Thus, Jeremy, Wentworth, and the immunity challenge voter would be the only ones to revote.

EW: Okay, six players left as we head to the finale/reunion. What can you tell us about both next Wednesday night?

Jeff Probst: The finale is … phenomenal. Historic. Unpredictable. And ultimately satisfying. I think it will cap off, in grand fashion, what most fans will regard as one of — if not THE greatest season of Survivor. I have absolutely loved the way this group played. I am proud and impressed by the level of fierce dedication to playing to win. Everybody went big.

I sure hope not. IMO the game's legitimacy already took a hit when it expanded the end game to three players. But at least going into the seasons following the switch people knew a final three was likely. Four is just ridiculous.

I'm still holding out hope that a double idol play somehow translates to two players getting voted out.

I'm trying to figure out what Abi was thinking with her vote for Keith, because if Spencer had voted with them she would've screwed it all up. Or did the other alliance trick her into thinking they were targeting Keith and convince her to 'flip'? I know she's nuts, but in the very least she seemed to be interested in staying in the game.

Well, when Kelley, Keith and Spencer were at the reward challenge Tasha wanted to get Keith out next. Maybe Abi was down with that plan, and Tasha or whoever reiterated to her that was still the plan.

Clearly the editing wanted to make us think it was Spencer's decision. Maybe he knew Abi wasn't with Kelley and Keith any longer so it made his decision much easier.

There is definitely a scene missing, and it doesn't appear to be one of the secret scenes.

I just read online that Abi is 36. I was shocked she's that old; she acts like she's 14.

The answer is that Abi was still trying to keep the all female alliance as an option. She thought Jeremy and Tasha were planning on voting for Keith, and she figured she could do damage control with Kelley after they got back to camp. She was "blindsided" by the vote.

Just listened to Abi's interview on Rob Has A Podcast.

She wanted a final three with Kimmi & Tasha. She considered them both goats.

I hope Spencer takes it all. He needs to eat!
btw, when did the term "goat" first start? I've been watching since season one and don't remember how or why that term started and why it stuck. Goats are tasty animals!

"Goat" might be short for "Judas goat."

Or it might be as a sacrificial animal, ie you take a goat with you to get slaughtered.

Bingo.

It's definitely not the GOAT as used in other games/sports... "greatest of all time"
