Pretty good stuff.
Also a new BvS teaser.
Oh one more ting. Surprise villain appearance at the end.

Remind me never to ask Penguin if I can hold his umbrella.
See you in February Gotham... might want to bring a sweater, it'll be a bit chilly.

Mind-reading dolphins?! That is either the greatest, most oblique reference to Lobo possible or the writers are on drugs.
I was jazzed to see Mr. Freeze at the end.

Fantastic mid-season finale. Way better than the Season 1 finale. Looking forward to the second half of the year.

This show has got to be one of the most-improved from a first to a second season. While I really enjoyed the show during the first season, it never quite rose to the level of must-see for me. But that's completely changed with this second season and I've loved where they've gone with the show.
It was a very satisfying mid-season finale and loved the team-ups. I'm not sure how I feel about Gordon more-or-less executing a prisoner in cold blood, but it was a satisfying moment knowing all the evil he brought upon Gotham. I'm interested to see the fall-out Gordon will face on the police force as a result of this decision.
Loved the tease of Mr. Freeze at the end.

And people ARE noticing. Gotham's ratings have solidified and are actually improving.
I do miss Jerome though.

Wasn't Victor Freize one of those villains who came to be later on? Odd to see him existing for like 15+ years before Bruce becomes Batman.

He only became Mr. Freeze in most comic continuities after Batman was already a crimefighter.
It doesn't really bother me that much since I can compartmentalize Gotham as its own thing. I view it as an alternative prequel that doesn't really affect anything.
Readers would be freaking out left and right if Jim Gordon was going around offing criminals in the comics.

Best mid-season finale I have seen this season.
Although you definitely have think of the characters as the same in name only, it's been pretty awesome to see how they have changed it all up but still give resemblance to what people think they know.
If they didn't go there you wouldn't expect to Gordon working with those guys and actually doing what makes sense in getting rid of people like Theo. Makes you wonder just how far they would go in changing things up. Killing off people everybody thinks make it till when Bruce becomes Batman? Having Penguin and others actually fight crime for a while before turning back to crime?
Anybody else catch the others they showed quickly when bringing Theo into that room. Seemed like they quickly showed Fish and possibly one other we may have been expected to recognize. And what could be the point of wanting 3/4 of Theo's head and part of his body?

Really good ep. Loved how they found a tangible way to work every major character from the series into the story. Curious where they'll go from here, aside from the obvious direction with Mr. Freeze.
What's taking Gotham's place during the winter hiatus? I'm actually kind of fond of the way they do TV series now, with a batch of new episodes for Fall and Spring, as opposed to doing repeats.

At the risk of being a perv (too late!), the girl who plays Silver is... wow. And just 15.
