Good episode but Glenn is definitely not dead. They shot it too weird for him to be dead. It was 100% Nicholas's guts.

Every other main character we see die goes out obviously. No way they don't give a huge send off to Glenn. The show is not that subtle .

Sliding himself under the dumpster seems like a good theory.

Re: The Walking Dead (S6E03) -- "Thank You" -- 10/25/15

Question, if all of this started because they went to bury a body and then discovered the quarry filled with walkers... they didn't stray too far from Alexandria (at most a mile)... and yet the last two episodes make it seem like Alexandria is a million miles away. Rick had been running for what seems like days until he got to the RV, also he was running pretty quick, I'd say he could easily run a eight/nine minute mile.

Someone explain what I'm missing other than the fact that the writer's are truly a bunch of retards who don't understand how much distance Rick was covering at the pace he was running.

Also, I too think that Glenn isn't dead.

I noticed the stairs when they ran by them. That would make sense.

That is very likely.

So the "part of Glen we'll se again" or whatever that shit was in the letter on Talking Dead confirms

Spoiler:
Maggie is pregnant.

Although I think he's alive but we won't know that for several episodes -- maybe even next half season.

Oh, and the physics of that scene are all kinds of screwed up. They are facing each other and Nicholas shoots himself in the head with his right hand. The blood really shouldn't hit Glen at all, yet it sprays all over Glen's face from right to left. Nicolas's body the falls forward and knocks Glen off to the left. Glen falls backwards head first, but lands on his back with his head towards the dumpster. None of that shit works out right.

Also to people familiar with the area, a quarry and all those country roads near Alexandria is a joke. It's like putting mountains in NYC.

Let us pray. Please lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Save Glenn. Amen.

Why didn't the injured Alexandrians just wait out the herd in the closet of the pet store? They could've chowed down on pet food and terrier puppy jerky.

Re: The Walking Dead (S6E03) -- "Thank You" -- 10/25/15

Loving this season so far, but I have to say if Glenn somehow makes it out of that zombie attack then it will be super lame.

I liked Glen so I didn't want to see him die, but having him come back just makes it more obvious that they will never kill any major character on the show until near the end of the series. (Glen, Rick, Carol, and Darryl).

Part of me thinks they can't be that stupid and that he is dead and they are just having some fun letting everyone speculate. But TV shows have done dumber things where they almost try to out think themselves and it backfires.

And they have to get the annoying lady off of Talking Dead with her notes. I respect that she is a super fan, but for god sakes this is The Walking Dead, not Mad Men where everything needs to be analyzed with a fine tooth comb!

The walkers who were in the pet store started making noise and that attracted the fringes of the herd to descend on the pet store. They would have broken the door eventually. A break out was necessary in that case. Plus it allowed us to kill off some Red Shirts.

they must have forgotten the times, they smeared zombie guts on themselves to walk through the herd. If I was living in the ZA, zombie guts would be the new money.

pretty much any problem they've had with zombies since season 1 would have been solved with the zombie guts method.

sort of like on star trek where they figure out how to defeat the cloaking device in one episode, and forget the solution in the next.

Thank you for reminding me Vin, add "super hearing" to the walkers' list of super powers. They are in a rumbling herd of thousands of zombies, but they can hear a closet door rattling inside a building down the block.

So what would happen if they threw a cat off a roof into a horde of zombies? How about a piece of butted toast?

Another thing that doesn't make sense if it turns out Glenn is okay... he was screaming as if he was in agony, not in an 'Ohshitohshitohshit' sort of way.

Michonne: "We can survive off this dog food."

Alexandrian 1: "DOG food?"

Alexandrian 2: "And this brand isn't even gluten free!"

Tyreese survived a room full of zombies. I'm sure Glenn can survive this.

This season has been great.

I had thought Glen was dead until reading this thread. It will be super lame if he somehow survives that zombie brunch.

I'd argue that he was NOT screaming in an "agony" way - at least not the way other people who are clearly being eaten alive scream on this show. This was a "holy shit what is happening?" scream and he will definitely survive it.

I think they would have clearly shown him get bitten and/or something would have happened to his face.

Re: The Walking Dead (S6E03) -- "Thank You" -- 10/25/15

If Glen survives this, it would be another cheat like last season when he was fighting in the woods with Nicholas and he was on the ground with Walkers piling on top of him.

Now that I think of it, his entire escape from that situation was done entirely off camera...because it was so improbable?

This season has been great so far, but if they bring Glenn back from that I'll be disappointed. Not that I want him to die, but because it would be cheap. There was nothing there to hint he would survive, my wife and I both thought he was dead after that scene.

I feel like Glen should just show up in town with no explanation.
