FYI, I posted it in the Legends of Tomorrow thread, but it applies here. Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough) is going to cross over to this show and LoT.

Pretty cool visual recreating the cover of The Flash of Two Worlds in the show tonight. Also, there are 52 pockets of singularity. 52 universes like established by Grant Morrison in Multiversity? The Sandemon sucked as a villain but the show gave great glimpses of things to come.

Much better episode than the premier. Now we're off and running(pardon the pun), which makes the premier's "I work alone Barry" even dumber.
I don't know anything about Garrick, but I already like the character/actor on the show.

I geeked the hell out during the Earth 1 & Earth 2 explanation. Slightly disappointed that we didn't get the WWII Jay Garrick.
Also, yet another female that has more chemistry with Barry than Iris does.

Funny that Jay was put into cell #52 when Barry locked him up. =P
So Jay has only 2 years experience as The Flash currently and Barry has 1? Jay just seems to know a hell of a lot more about their powers.
I liked how he kept calling Barry "Kid".

Also, I like that they are keeping Arrow and Flash in sequential order. By this, I mean that what happened in Arrow last week was reflected in this week's Flash.

I got my Earth-2 reference, which is what I was looking for in this episode. A shame Joan Garrick wasn't mentioned. I think they could have made Jay a little older but the CW doesn't want too many older people on their shows.
This was a nice comeback after a weak opening episode.

Well, I guess that explains how Tom Cavanaugh stays on the show.
Fun episode. I liked Jay Garrick. I remember Teddy Sears from Masters of Sex.
And wow, really surprised to see Shantel VanSanten so soon after her last CW show got the axe. She seems like a good addition. I just hope the cast (regular and recurring) doesn't get too bloated.

Fun episode for sure. Echo a lot of comments here.
So. We got The Flash. Parallel Flash. The Reverse Flash. Zoom. Damn this show is awesome!

Is this a new version of Sandy that was created during the new 52? Last I remember reading a story about him was 40 years ago in JLA 113.

I just can't believe that a 10c comic book cover has now shown up on my $1300 HDTV, it's a mind-boggling level of nerdgasm.

So, the Flash is just outright killing people now? Atom Smasher gets a lethal dose of radiation, and Sandman gets shattered into more pieces than the Monolith on Agents of SHIELD.
At least we know where Ronnie went now.

I thought the same thing when SandDemon was crystalized and killed last night. Did Atom Smasher died? I wasn't clear on that one.

Yeah, they decided that they're not putting anyone into the cells anymore unless it's a friend. That whole aspect annoyed me about the episode. That Barry could be so at ease with locking people who didn't commit any crime in one of those prisons.
And now they're just killing off the villains like it's not a thing. They state that Iron Heights can hold metas now... sooooooo..?

Much better than the premier. Seemed to match the pace and scope at the end of season 1.
I had the same thought about killing people. However, if Sandman is altered, you could argue turning him to glass just froze him. Melt all the pieces and he could reassemble.
Agree with whoever said another actress has more chemistry with Barry than Iris. I really hope the writers take liberty and don't force them together. Is she supposed to be his Lois Lane though?
I thought the Earth 2 was great. Loved the retro look. Anybody else think the rocket ship was supposed to reference Action Comics #1?
