Probably, although realistically they should be among the first places that Lucifer, or at least his spies, check in on. And actually, given Dean's connection to the Darkness, he should be spying on them somehow already.

It still gets very reliable, steady ratings for the CW and most of the cheapish budget goes to the stars. Sam and Dean could hit social security before this is off the air.

I have to say, this has been a hell of a good season so far, especially given the ups and downs of last year. The Darkness isn't Lucifer, but she's a better villain than a lot of others they've had, and Misha Collins is having a blast doing his Lucifer impression. I'm betting that they're going to try to figure Michael into the finale. If Lucifer can't fight the Darkness, she's all that's left.

Well, I'm disappointed that it looks like they're still skirting around Michael, but holy God. Literally. This could lead to one hell of season finale. Metatron and Chuck were great. The most literal deus ex machina ending that there can be, but hey, it is guest-starring the Almighty, so....

Awesome episode. So great to see Chuck back. I loved that song he sang at the end.

Had 11 of these on my DVR and just got caught up. Some of those fillers episodes were not very good, but all-in-all, this has been a pretty strong season. I really loved episode 20, Chuck was just great.

This has been a great season. This last episode was hilarious and poignant. Santa Claus? I really like the arc this season and look forward to season 12. And Chuck makes a great GOD. The whole thing with him offering himself up, nicely done.

Jeremy Carver is leaving the show after this season to work as showrunner for Frequency also on The CW.
Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb, who are long-time Producers on the show, will be co-showrunners.
Singer for those who don't know was the inspiration for the Bobby Singer character. He's been a director, producer, writer and EP on the show.

Well, that was an interesting end to the season.
Going to miss Amara. She was really nice to look at.
Did Jeremy Carver work with The Flash's writers on this finale? Bringing Sam and Dean's Mom back from the dead?
and I wonder who the heck was mystery British lady who supposedly shot Sam.
I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of Supernatural going into religion and religious-themed storylines. So I wasn't a huge fan of this God and Amara arc. But, I was happy that it ended and they have a different place to go to next season.

While the whole Chuck/Amara conflict got resolved a little too lazily in the end, I did enjoy this season quite a bit (and that's from a guy who LOVES the show but believes it should have been put out to pasture a few seasons ago).
Interesting cliffhanger-y setup for S12....

Overall I liked the season and hope we see God & Amara back. And while that ending did seem a bit of a cop out, I think they learned from what happened in the season 5 finale (its hard to go on after Armageddon). I also wouldn't mind if Crowley's mom was added to the cast.
They've left enough strands to keep me interested for season 12 but really...they do need to think about wrapping this one up.
