I just started watching this on Netflix a few months ago. I'm around Season 4. So many episodes. I'm going to start watching the new episodes. Does everyone hate the show now or what?

I was plotted out for five seasons. Everything since then has been up and down in quality. I still enjoy it though.

I've watched every single episode since the Pilot. But I can see how many, including the folks here are tired of it. It's 11 seasons in and very few can stay committed to a show that long. Plus, the writers and producers have given zero indication of any end date, so for all we know, this could stay on another 3-4 more years. It's obvious that everyone on this show is just collecting a pay check at this point.

The original creator of the show wanted to end it with the end of season 5, but the network insisted on keeping it going to cash-in on the fandom. The story since then has just been a big mess and every time you think they'll finally let it end like they should: we get a new season renewal announcement.
I like Supernatural, use to really like it, but Seasons 1 & 2 was by far the best it had to offer. After Season 5 though it just completely ran out of juice. It's now just the same thing over and over again pretty much. The brothers have taken on everything and came out in the end together. Every season they break up because of a fight and end up back together. One of them is always lying to the other, and they end up sacrificing themselves to save the other... It's the same concepts used over and over.
Fans are just tired of it because nothing is fresh anymore.

Yet I will still watch. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

This, more than any other show I watch, needs to end. It's tired and there's no endgame in sight. They've done everything they can possibly do.

One of my best fandoms. Even though not every episode or season has been great, I still love the brothers so I am still down until the end. At this point, there's no running me off unless they kill the brothers off and replace them.

I thought the cop looked familiar.
Turns out she played Jeanne (Colonel Weaver's daughter) on Falling Skies.

Oh wow, so the baby that Sam and Dean saved will become darkness in the future.
The adult version was pretty freaking hot.

She's actually been on this before as well. She was in episode 22 of season 7. I'm pretty sure that kid at the beginning of the episode that pointed his shotgun at Cas was the "kneel before Todd" kid from "Wishful Thinking" in season 4.
In case you forgot:

Man that's a shame they had Jenna turn to the dark side, murder her grandmother and then get killed off. She would have been a good recurring character to have around.
Crowley was pretty nasty in this episode.

Even though I'm in the "I-watch-Supernatural-but-really-think-it-would-have-been-best-if-it-ended-a-few-seasons-ago" camp I have to say this season is starting off better than I expected.
The show had gone from secret shame to must watch to watch out of obligation.
This season - only two eps in - I find myself looking forward to ep03.

Ep 3 kind of just spinning its wheels, imo. Meh. Though it did have some pretty funny lines here and there.
I could do without the Rowena arc....

It's funny, I'm reading the book Good Omens and the scene in this episode with the angel and demon having a drink was basically a scene out of that story.
I also hear Mark Shepherds voice as Crowley while reading the book too.
