Only 2 episodes to go and it doesn't really seem like they're getting much done this season considering it's suppose to wrap everything up. I have a feeling the ending is going to be poorly handled.

Anyone else just want to slap Kira every time she does something incredibly dumb and gets all weepy because she just wants to get home. Have not really been feeling these wrap up episodes so far.

Only 1 episode to go and it seems that no one is really going to get a happy ending. Although I'm okay with that as happy endings are overrated haha. For the most part all the loose ends have been tied up; but the thing is the current supposed future still isn't a bright one.

Kiera has been really whiny this season and she always treats Alec like crap. I really don't care about her much anymore.

Yes. For the past 2 seasons. But I like the analysis of someone above that perhaps she is meant to be a screwup.

I am pretty sure everything gets reset so Kiera never travels back in time in the first place.

So we finally glimpse the traveler and he is like some Jesus dude? That is lame. I agree this is going to completely reset like nothing happened.

Young/old Alec meeting was really cool. Otherwise, these episodes have not acted like they're trying to wrap things up, IMO.

I'm willing to bet she will be transported to the execution chamber right after they are all sent back. It will look like she tried to stop something, but it will appear like they died - she'll be a hero trying to stop them. According to the conversation between the Alec's time travel doesn't exist yet, so people probably wouldn't know to look for and assume Liber8 disappearing was just a bomb.

Still not sure what the point of the traveler is to the entire story. Some random variable for some guy who was lost in time and broke something.

That reveal was disappointing. I imagine they had an entire arc for the character ultimately planned but it got lost in the shuffle with having to wrap the show up in six episodes.

Also, Koby it looks like you are a week ahead through the Canadian broadcast. Please be sure to put any comments in spoilers in case we all come in to talk about the next to last episode. Thanks!

I'm worried they're gonna use the Traveler as a deus ex machina to wrap it all up. He DOES seem to be the only character that appears to have the ability to send Kiera back to a future that doesn't actually exist on the current timeline.

With the exception of Carlos, Jason and maybe new Julian, the rest of the recurring characters are all self serving tools. Kiera, Alec, Brad, Kellog, Travis, Garza etc.. generally but themselves before the greater goal.

It's a slap in the face of the viewer if Kiera's original future still exists. I'd rather them go the St. Elsewhere/Newhart route.

I give my sci-fi shows a lot of leeway but they just said five minutes ago that this couldn't happen. Plus even ignoring the paradox, that old Alex doesn't exist. The show's only had people travel back in time, never forward.

I think he's going to a cheap escape device. My question is if he can get old Alec from a broken time line then why can't he get back to his broken time line.

I accept the show will not have a tidy ending but instead of wrapping a few things up they seem to be build new parts.

I don't think we've seen anything that suggests Kiera's original timeline doesn't exist. I don't think the timeline she is in now leads to it, but as we've seen through the tree branches concept it certainly can exist.

Btw, if it's not obvious old Kellog is planning to come back through the time elevator, kill his former self and steal is kidneys.

Yeah it's why I've specifically not been mentioning any actual events that took place to avoid spoiling anyone.

Hey no need to kill him right away. One take one kidney put him in a medically induced coma and take the other organs as needed. Wonder if Kellog would kill himself to save the other? Nah. It's Kellog.

I'm going to finish this show, but I really don't know what's even going on anymore. The same thing happened to me with Orphan Black which is why I stopped watching.

Massively action packed next to last episode.

I really enjoyed a lot of the time travel and personal choice discussions. Not only was Alec smart enough to point out her future may not be possible to reach (this timeline certainly isn't it), but Carlos also called Kiera out for being selfish at the expense of justice.

The prison break was brutal. I will point out the dumb cops in the basement, but those upstairs certainly didn't have a chance. Talk about a crazy shootout. Carlos certain can hold his and is smart on trying to take the guy down by surprise. Then of course Travis comes in to show how it's done. Super sad to see him go though. Wish he and Kira had one more conversation.

I'm more convinced than ever that Kira will return to just after when she left. However, I think to make the past "safe" all of Liber8 will die. Garza will probably sacrifice herself for Kira to get home. I wonder of Jadon will get to go back too!

I found it interesting that Kiera always talks about getting back to her kid but not once has she said that she wants to get back to her husband. He's just disposable I guess. It's a cheap out if they just reset the timeline by putting Kiera back where she started.

He's a cheating sob so there's that.

Do they know there is only one episode left? There are going to be a lot of untied loose ends for this show. I can't see a way around it.

Didn't Kiera bang Kellogg fairly early in the series? She never seemed too upset over being separated from her husband, imo.

It was implied she slept with him. I think it was the same episode where it was revealed her husband had cheated on her during a flashback.

I enjoyed the series finale. Pretty decent ending with closure. Won't go into detail till next week once everyone else is caught up.

For a second I thought they would take a risk and do the right thing in the show, but no Kira puts her needs ahead of 2 entire screwed up timelines and endangers millions. Do the showrunners think people are rooting for her to get home?

They never really confirmed or denied it, nor did they ever deal with it at all. No drama, she was just still there the next day. And it sort of bugged me that it was treated so casually since that's when she still seemed to be talking about getting back home to her beloved family. Maybe I'm being sexist, or maybe its because he's kind of a creep but it did bug me. Of course, in season three it seemed (at least to me) that the whole "getting back home to her son" thing kind of got dropped, or at least put in the backseat.
