IDK, after seeing Manhunter many times and Red Dragon (Ed Norton) a couple of times (it's been on HBO/Showtime a bunch this month) I'm not that into seeing the same story for the third time.

While the basic tenets will probably be similar, I don't think it's going to look like anything we've seen before. Manhunter is very much a product of the 80s and was obviously made during Michael Mann's Miami Vice days. Red Dragon is generally more faithful to the book, but it's also pretty by the numbers.

If they do this right, then I think we'll end up with the best possible version of Red Dragon.

They dived right into Red Dragon. Wow. Looked WAY better than any of the other adaptations.

Well, I guess we know who lives in Canada (Hannibal still airs Thursdays there).
