I was surprised to discover this streaming on Netflix. "Metastasis" is a Colombian adaptation of "Breaking Bad", -"After he is diagnosed with cancer, Walter Blanco teams up with José Miguel Rosas to sell crystal meth". It's 61 episodes and seems to be the complete series; subtitles can be activated. It 's appears to be pretty much a scene-for-scene remake, down to the title credits.

Yeah, shot-for-shot remake (Vince Gilligan consulted) except for a few details to account for the location. This explains a few differences:

I don't think I will watch it but it is interesting; reminds me of the shot for shot Indian remake of "24".

Wow. Lotta spoilers there. Maybe that's not a big deal in Columbia or they assume everyone already watched the original series.

I watched a bit of the very last episode, because I was curious.
Unfortunately, the subtitles wouldn't show up on my OPPO. I didn't bother switching to another device to figure it out.
That said, it was... interesting. I don't think I could watch the whole series, though. If I want to watch BB... I'll just watch BB.

Crazy how they wanted to recreate the original show like this.

I watched a little of it when it was TV here. The American cast were better actors.

I've heard of this before but have never been too interested. The fact that it's just an adaptation with no changes to storylines kills any interest for me and I'd rather just watch Breaking Bad.

This also aired like a telenovela over there. Basically on every day with no budget.
