Frank Miller took to the stage at Brazil’s CCXP comic book show, to be interviewed. And we learnt a few things, some we knew, some we didn’t.

When asked if he had seen the recent Marvel Netflix show Daredevil, he replied with a simple “no”.

As to the upcoming appearance of Elektra in the show, to be portrayed by Elodie Yung, he said “they can call it whatever you want, but not It will be the real Elektra.”

When asked if he felt like the father of the character he confirmed “yes, I’m her father” to audience applause.

When Miller created the character as both a foil and love interest for Daredevil, before killing her off, he sought the guarantee the character would not be revived after her death. Subsequent executives, however, reneged on that deal and Miller subsequently stated that whatever Elektra now appears in Marvel Comics, she is not the real deal.

Indeed, at one point, the character was revealed to have been Skrull shapeshifting imposter.

It looks as if that attitude is still in play…
