Re: Jeopardy! Discussion

Jamie Ding wound up falling a buck short of James Holzhauer.
Lost to trivia buff Greg Shahade, ending the 31-game streak
at $882,605, good for 5th all-time.

Re: Jeopardy! Discussion

I'm not going to be able to watch that Greg Shahade. He's overly dramatic with his answers and has super weird mannerisms. That's saying something when Jaime Ding is on stage with him but Greg may be the worst contestant I've ever had to watch.

I'm going to miss Jaime.

Yup, I'll be taking a break while he is on.

Entertaining Demises was the first category is kinda of funny.

Pop Culture Jpepardy was already a 30+ episode tournament on Amazon Video, is this a new series or a rerun of that series?

During his run, Jamie set the Coryat record at $42,400
(44 right, 0 wrong) on March 17.
That's the score counting DDs as simply the value on the board.

I've only seen the episode where he beat Jaime, but I was also struck by Greg's style of playing, with is mannerisms and talking to himself. I always sort of assumed that Jeopardy's producers coached the contestants not to do stuff like that. But I also remember that Mattea Roach had some quirky mannerisms, but theirs were more cute than annoying.

Re: Jeopardy! Discussion

Greg was not quite as annoying on tonight's episode, but it's still rather annoying. I don't think he'll last very long, though.
