I wonder how many readers will accept this week's changes, and how many will whine?

Good to see Ramsay finally revealed as the decent guy we always knew he could be!
I prefer the Hound over Jaqen H'gar as a companion to Arya. I guess she does, too.

This is the first season of GOT where I haven't been eager to watch the next week's episode as soon as possible. And judging by word on tonight's, I might stop watching entirely. When does it cross the line from "brutally real" to just plain exploitive?

Agree with everyone else. Kind of want to stop watching the show now. Wasn't just the last graphic scene, but this season just doesn't seem as good as it was last season.
Feels repetitive and even more disturbing.

I don't know, this show has done worse. And Sansa has been on the verge of rape basically the entire run of the series. But yes, it was disturbing but fortunately brief.
Only thing that really fell flat for me was the stuff in Dorne. The timing of the assassination/kidnap was kind of laughable. Although I guess the show has done similar stuff before, it just felt a little too matter of fact this time.

I thought this season has been good until this episode. I really didn't care for the rescue attempt in Dorne and the very last scene. The books that this season is based on aren't the best, but I'm hoping Sansa makes some attempt to escape or Jon/Stannis/Reek/Brienne rescues her. The poor girl has been through enough already.

Yeah, the Dorne scene was laughably bad. The character development in that part has been poor as well. Doran has had about 2 minutes of screen time it seems.
These are the parts of the book where the story started to go off the rails and it's starting to show up in the tv show.

Also, I'm curious about the rules of greyscale. Is it skin to skin contact only? Jorah touched Tyrion and the slavers touched him all over. Shouldn't they now catch it or do you have to make contact with the affected area on his skin?

Agreed about the Sand Snakes. Terrible casting and writing.
Really, people are going to stop watching the show because a character got raped? Off camera for less than 10 seconds? The graphic violence is OK though, you're fine with watching that. Hypocrites.

Anyone think that Bronn got poisoned when he was cut by the spear?

The sword, whip (etc.) fight in Dorne had some lame staging - everyone looked fairly inept in the fight, even (shockingly) Bronn.
I don't understand how the High Sparrow / High Septon can arrest a Queen. I think the King and Queen would be the two people they can't touch and are subservient to, otherwise that's just one bizarre social order.
I was surprised that Jorah Mormont didn't know about his father's death (which happened all the way back in Season 3). Tyrion once again showed his decency in praising Lord Commander Mormont's character.
After the hints that the Ramsay/Reek/Sansa scene was going to be shocking... I thought it was tame for a "Ramsay in psycho mode" scene. (And I'm glad it wasn't as bad as hinted.)

If the king is too much of a pansy to do anything about it, then I'd guess the high septon can do whatever he wants. Which is what cersei was counting on.

Great episode, Ramsey was a bastard in that scene, making theon watch.
Loved Tyrion saving both of their asses
The dorne stuff definitely the weakest plot this season.
People ditching the show because of Ramsey and the rape? What did people think was going to happen, the guy is a sociopath.
I remember everyone threatening to rage quit after Jamie raped Cersei and the show continues its increase in viewers.

I thought it was kind of a flat episode. The rape was tame for this show. I'm surprised anybody made this far if that was their breaking point.
The Sand Snakes vs Team Jamie was kind of lame. Also both side getting there at the same time was kind of silly.
Arya scenes were kind of interesting. All I could think about is how do they get to the faces near the ceiling. I didn't see any ladders.
Yeah just a dull episode. This was the weakest episode of the series for me. I was hoping for some white walker action after getting previous scenes with the old bear. I think he might be a zombie but we will probably never know his hate.

That was supposed to be brutal or something?
I just think that this entire season has been utterly boring.

Agree with the recent posts that I don't see why the Sansa stuff at the end would make anyone stop watching. Feels like we've seen worse on the show, and this wasn't particularly graphic or anything at all.
I liked the Arya stuff where she sees all the faces; I think that was pretty neat. Liked Tyrion talking his way out of death as well, and had to chuckle at the idea of a cock salesman.

The Faith Militant have to be the worst bad guys ever on a show and it really goes to show how GRRM fucked up killing Tywin and Joffrey too early in the books. And I gotta wonder why the show is even wasting time in Dorne if that's confrontation was what we get.
