Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
FYI for those unaware, tonight's Arrow season finale is a crossover with the Flash. Grant Gustin is guest starring. I know some here who watch The Flash don't watch Arrow.

Joe's supposed long term problems with the pipeline would have been a lot more vaild if he had, oh I don't know, actually expressed them before tonight.
Nice to see they put an end to it though. |

So at this point in the show is Wells dead? Would seem impossible to cage him if they try that, as Barry would know he can phase through walls and the containment they used before was a ruse.

Seriously though, no one said anything about killing him. Great episode, by the way. I had a really good time throughout the whole thing. Absolute utter nerdgasm. |
Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
Good episode. Nice to see them finally address the metahumans being illegally kept by Barry and co.
I know it's for convenience, but it's still hilarious how everybody just waltzes into STAR labs. |

Cool scene. Should have removed one whining scene and kept this one.

I hate how much they actually give away in the previews

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
I went GIDDY when Thawne popped out his RF uniform from his ring. COOL!
I love Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold. Looks to me as he is having the time of his life playing this villain. Neat that they were able to get all those actors back to play the bad guys. Only Heat Wave was missing. Another GL easter egg. Its time Hal got back from his training with the GLC and start helping Flash and Green Arrow. |
Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
This episode of the Flash beat out Agents of SHIELD's season finale in the critical ad demo. The ratings for AOS cratered to a new series low.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
I watch this show with others and I am sure they did not pick up on the *test pilot gone messing* they would have little way to know that history.

Man, I marked out when I heard that. I really hope they bring in Green Lantern into the mix.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
Honestly, the whole thing with the prisoner transfer was really lame. As noted, Wentworth Miller is a terrible actor, and I don't for one second believe that Barry would trust him and do all that before he could deliver. And the way Flash got incapacitated during that fight was lazy bullshit. If the writers wanted the prisoners freed, there's so many better ways to have gone about it.

Re: The Flash (S1E22) -- "Rogue Air" -- 5/12/15
The showrunner obviously wanted a big battle royale with Flash squaring off against the Rogues. Barry was desperate with the Reverse Flash breathing down his neck, so he made a dumb decision to trust Captain Cold. I think it's refreshing that this show doesn't have the hero making the right decision all the time. People have to understand that Barry is fundamentally a nice guy and wants to trust people. The reveal about Wells has really rocked his world.

What I didn't get was what were they going to do once the meta-humans were on the plane. Was the plane decked out with the same high tech jamming hardware?

Any answer besides "on Caitlin's chest" will be disappointing.

My favorite part was (paraphrased):
Cisco: This bomb thingy is from the future. I don't know anything about it. Flash: How much time do we have? Cisco: 36 hours! |

 That got an audible "what?" from me.

Am I the only one that will really be disappointed if Barry goes back in time, saves his mother and completely rewrites the timeline? It'll basically be like erasing the entire first season. Seems like a terrible idea to me.

Others probably think that kind of stuff is cool, but frankly I don't want the series to go any further in that direction. The over the top dialogue coming from Cold (and others to a lesser degree) is bad enough without resorting to cheesy song drops during the same scenes.
