Starting Wednesday at 6pm ET, AMC is repeating the entire series run of Mad Men throughout the entire week until the series finale.

The series finale next week is 75 minutes.

I've learned that the episode title is a reference back to "The Hobo Code" with the drifter that shows up at young Don's homestead looking for work and a hot meal, which in a way now mirrors the life that Don is leading driving America's highways seemingly aimlessly looking for the next adventure.

Cool. I should be caught up in time for the finale then. It seems like the less focused the plot became, the more f-bombs got dropped, though now that it's almost over, only season 6 has been a bit of a dud, enjoyed the rest immensely.

No kidding. I want to say it's a waste of time , but it's fascinating to see Don shed everything and just not care anymore.

No idea how this ends.

Yeah, but now Don just can't wander off into the west b/c he'll have to take the boys. And the talk with Sally in the beginning indicates that he is still in contact so he'll know.

Saw the Pete-Trudy reconciliation coming with her scene a few weeks ago, but he still doesn't deserve her.

Good to see Max Gail still acting.

It's nice seeing Pete be an un-dick.

I can't wait to see how it will wrap up, and will be terribly sad to see it.

The 2 characters on the shows I watch that take the worst beatings from the plot are Betty Draper and Butters Stotch.

Was pretty disappointed with this episode. Don's time was totally wasted sticking him in a motel room with a broken car, which he ended up chucking. This cancer plot seems very tacked on. I hope Don learns that he will become the primary caretaker for his 3 children next week. Pete's story arc was wrapped up with a nice bow.

I actually thought that the theme of the final episodes is that anyone who was a heavy smoker on this show will not have a good ending in one way or another (Don, Betty, Joan, Roger), where the non-smokers (like Pete and Peggy) will have a positive ending. Actually, I think it would have been more ironic and very realistic if all of the heavy smokers died early in their life like Betty did of Lung Cancer. That generation was the last generation to grow up before everyone knew smoking was 'that' bad for you, as we all have family from that era who smoked. The only one's who lived a long live into their 80's/90's were the non-smokers.

As for the ending, I am still holding down my expectations because most series finales of any show these days are disappointments. It's so hard to come up with something brilliant (like Newhart) whereas most of them try to hard and end up being awful (Seinfeld and The Soprano's). I don't think we should focus on exactly what will happen to Don next week because that could be a letdown, but more or less does HE get a happy or tragic ending?

I understand many Mad Men fans do not like the Betty character, but that's alittle harsh. It was sad to watch her struggle last night walking through school with kids much younger then her calling her Mrs. Robinson. I think the actor who plays Sally really knocked it out of the park last night once she found out about her mom's fate, as that was a heart-wreching scene when Betty went into her room to give her that letter.

Kiernan Shipka is a strong young actress, she should have a solid career coming off Mad Men. If they keep her on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, they better do something worthwhile with her.

Her and Emma Watson look damn similar as well.

Also, Draper looks nothing like the DB Cooper sketch, though I did like Matt W. mentioning it.

That was the most expensive motel stay I ever seen. :) I thought it was quite humorous, the amount of times Don had to reach into his pockets for money at this lanky little country motel.

Even if people feel strongly about the last shot, the finale of The Sopranos was great. Tons of things happened and everybody got an ending, without it being tied up perfectly.

Strongly disagree. Don's arc in this episode, along with his younger self reflected in that motel worker, was very much necessary and as well done as can be. Regret and/or running away, starting anew (also in Pete's storyline and to an extent, Betty's) were the primary themes of this episode. In a way, each of these three characters had their own personal breakthroughs and came out stronger on the other side.
