Direct TV/You Tube Channel?

Looks like You Tube Channel is no longer supported on Direct TV(Extras). That sucks. It was too good to be true.

That sucks. Youtube videos don't show up in the searches anymore.

Maybe they can hook up with Daily Motion(it would be better than nothing).

Re: Direct TV/You Tube Channel?

You could watch YouTube on your DirecTV system? I wonder if anyone saw my upload of this on there?

(Most TV-based devices don't seem to be able to display the annotations on YouTube videos, which is usually a good thing.)

Same here, never knew. We've always switched to the AppleTV or PS3 to put up a YouTube video.

I'm already missing it. It was so much more convenient than the youtube feature on my blu-ray player. Because on DirecTV (Not only was it MUCH faster to type out a video that you wanted) it was cool to have the "Related Videos" option and the "More from uploader" option. The only negatives were that it couldn't play a feature that was over 90 minutes and plenty of music videos were blocked.

I think I might've ran into one of your videos one night. It was a video of late night local commercials. Sound like something you got?

Youtube no longer supports my blu-ray player, so I can't watch youtube videos at all, except on a computer
