I wonder if these actually deter new smokers (I don't think they really affect current smokers). I'd think most people know smoking is bad for you, but then I'd think that most people know what milk, beef, and pork are and apparently the ads for those help boost the industries, so who knows how ads work?

While I hate most fast food ads, I find the Jack in the Box ones pretty consistently entertaining.

The AT&T U-verse commercials with snotty entitled tweens waxing poetic about the "old days" when your parents couldn't wheel the TV outside next to the pool or onto the front lawn so their younger siblings can constantly watch TV.

The Amazon Fire Phone commercials with the two snotty 8 year olds acting like they were an old Jewish couple.

Any wireless commercial that tries to guilt you into feeling like garbage because you haven't gone out and bought a brand new phone to replace the phone they guilted you into buying 6 months earlier.

Any wireless or cable ad that tries to make you feel like you have to be streaming some show or movie every second of your life.

I don't like it when athletes are sponsors for a product that they definitely never use. Sonic has Kevin Durant inspired candy slushies. There is no way in hell Kevin Durant ever eats that shit.

Sonic commercials annoy me in general since in my 30 years of life I've never once seen a Sonic.

Most of what Sonic has is mediocre, but they have a massive menu and serve breakfast all day. Plus good tater tots.

I don't think any of them use roller skates anymore though.

Anti-smoking ads bother me, not because of their graphicness (watch me clean this hole), or dumb (all the teenage anti-smoking ads), but simply because it makes me want to have a cigarette. 17.8% of all adults in the US are considered "smokers", not sure what the actual number would be for that. In 2005 it was 20.9% or 45.1m.

Those aren't even the ones that I dislike (although they are still annoying). I hate the "Truth" anti-smoking commercials that really like to hammer their point home. Enough is enough I fucking get that smoking is bad.

Here in Oklahoma we get these Chickasaw Nation commercials that are beyond obnoxious. Some person who doesn't even look Native American goes on and on about how they are proud to be Chickasaw. The most annoying thing about them is that they aren't 30 seconds or even 60 but feel like three fucking minutes long.
