The "badda book, badda boom" commercials from Choice Hotels.

I hate those Charmin commercials with the "enjoy the go" slogan. First, I don't know of anybody who really enjoys a dump, whatever toilet paper they use; second, some of their ads are like the definition of TMI.

Who watches commercials?
Doesn't everyone have a DVR?

^Can one not FF through the ads? I am exposed to zero ads, except on free Spotify, where they are very annoying (but I'd never pay for it).

Yep. I pretty much watch everything on DVR, at a minimum delayed long enough to ski commercials. I.e. I'll watch an hour long show after it's been on about 20 minutes.

I try to do the same thing with sports, but with a suitably longer delay.

Oh, come on... there's nothing better than a good morning dump.

Any commercial featuring overweight middle-aged white male office workers suddenly dancing to hip-hop or EDM or whatever.

The Liberty Mutual Insurance commercials can be obnoxious, the one about a scratch (on the other car) that could be fixed with a pen is the latest.

Anybody else think the spokesperson kid in Shriner's Hospital ads is really a 40 year old guy?

This American Family Insurance commercial (which plays a lot during Cub games - so I see it often) drives me fucking nuts.

The dad is a real dick to his son, and the so-called 'warm and fuzzy' ending relies on the guy knowing his son had a window seat, the flight plan of the son's plane, that the son would somehow know to look out the window, etc.

I always go off on a rant when I see it, and my wife reminds I am reading WAY TOO MUCH INTO IT.

Feels like those ads have played for so long, he might be approaching his 40s by now

I used to wonder about Doug from the mesothelioma commercials. "I have a deadly lung disease", said the guy who made commercials about it from 1987 to 2012.

There's just something about the kid that I picture him rolling over and having a smoke when they yell "Cut!". That he has to shave in the morning.

Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

I am absolutely sick of that Lowe's commercial where a guy at an outdoor party asks to get into a cooler someone is sitting on, and the guy barely gets off, making it impossible for the requester to get his drink from the cooler. Lowe's says your back yard is too small, for some odd reason. No, the guest is a selfish, inconsiderate prick who deserves a hard shove.

Those Lowe's commercials were decent at first, but they've long since run their course.

That is Daniel Johnston, he has an interesting history, there a documentary about him, got noticed after Kurt Cobain wore a shirt with his artwork on it.

Not arguing, I find him annoying, but it is an interesting story. The Devil and Daniel Johnston is the documentary.

Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

All the apple commercials over the last 10 months or so are awful.
Worst might be the one with the girl who makes everything explode or whatever she’s doing.
