I would rather have a longer season with several 30 minute episodes instead of cramming 2 episodes a week in a hour.

Shit I totally forgot this started tonight. Good thing my DVR is set up for a series recording. I could have sworn the show was supposed to be an hour long this season but looking at the schedule they appear to all be half hour episodes.

Theme song is back.
I've missed this show. The therapist falling asleep with that weird look on his face while Louie is telling him he's depressed. Marina the bitchy lesbian was pretty convincing at being a bitch to Louie for no real reason other than the fact that he's a guy. Also liked him showing up at the wrong party and how awkward everyone was to him. The part where he was having sex with the surrogate and her water broke was good too. Both the stand-up bits were good as well. Overall a solid premiere if you ask me, I just wish the season wasn't so short. I wasn't really sure of the meaning of the guy playing guitar throughout the episode. It seemed like a segue between the acts but not sure if it was supposed to mean something more.
I did kind of wonder what happened with Pamela. They were together at the end of last season but she wasn't mentioned at all tonight. I know continuity comes and goes on this show at times but hopefully they keep their relationship going.

at Louie banging the pregnant chick until her water broke
Surprised that Pamela wasn't in this, especially after they sorta became a couple last season.
Only 7 more episodes left.

I enjoyed it. I probably would have thought the ending was funnier if the stupid rating at the beginning didn't all but give it away.
Him muttering "She's better than you" at the violin student's parents was my favorite moment. So glad to have it back. Especially on Thursdays. This is a show you end the week with. Not start.

Off to a great, uncomfortable, start! Yeah, the "She's better than you" line was hilarious.
And what an annoying c*nt the pot luck host was. Loved that Louie was banging the surrogate, just for that reason. Also, it was great writing to have her 'okay' someone else touching the surrogate's belly.
Didn't realize it was only 8 episodes. I was hoping they were going to double them up like last season, but I guess that would be over far too quickly. (That's what she said)

Last season was only 7 weeks long, but did have two half hour episodes back to back, correct?
So 14 episodes for Season 4, but only 8 for Season 5. That really blows.

I wonder why this show is airing after The Comedians. Wouldn't it make more sense for Louie to be the lead-in for a new show?

KFC and jizz on the baby lol
He probably went to a good KFC since If he went to the KFC around here the people at the party would notice how bad and mediocre the chicken is.

Louie needing to take a shit and Lily and Jane being all overly concerned about it, then he ends up going in his pants. The conversation with Bart the terrible comedian was good too and Louie was trying to be nice but had to be blunt because he just wasn't getting it. Pamela wanting Louie to do a "Pee Wee Herman" in the theater was a great line too. I love the dynamic between Louie and Pamela, he seems to want a traditional relationship but she doesn't want to commit and wants an "a la carte" relationship. That whole conversation in the Italian restaurant was pretty entertaining. Bart showing up on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon doing his bit in a goofy voice .

Not surprising, it's another excellent episode.

An OK episode, the premiere was better. I can relate to Louie way too much in regards to his relationship with his current chick (him wanting to be monogamous and official, her wanting to be casual and dating around), and that makes me kind of dislike her. Dealt with that shit before.

Anyway, that's what I thought it meant. Glad to have the show (and theme) back.
