W/ Bob & David (Netflix) - Bob Odenkirk & David Cross Sketch Comedy
EXCLUSIVE: They’re back! Frequent collaborators and longtime friends Bob Odenkirk and David Cross have teamed for a new sketch comedy series, With Bob and David, which has been picked up by Netflix. The streaming service has ordered four half-hour episodes and one hourlong “making-of” special from the project, which has just started production.
Here is how Odenkirk and Cross describe With Bob and David: After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEAL, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best: making sketch comedy. Four half-hours of brand-new comedy featuring all new characters, all new scenes and, most importantly, all new wigs.
Odenkirk and Cross, who first worked together on The Ben Stiller Show, became cult favorites with their landmark 1995 sketch series Mr. Show With Bob and David, which ran on HBO for four years. Odenkirk and Cross have kept the Mr. Show gang together with occasional mini-reunions, including a six-city tour in 2013. Then on December 31 last year, alum Paul F. Tompkins tweeted a photo of him, Odenkirk, Cross and several other cohorts teasing “something new coming from the Mr. Show gang in the new year.”
Odenkirk and Cross are the only regulars on With Bob and David, though it is likely that a lot of their friends, including some big names, would make an appearance. (The above photo from the show features Odenkirk and Cross along with guest star Jon Barinholtz.)
In addition to writing and starring in the series, Odenkirk and Cross serve as executive producers along with Marc Provissiero and Naomi Odenkirk of Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, Tim Sarkes of Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Dave Kneebone, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.
Odenkirk will be doing With Bob and David while on hiatus from his breakout new AMC series Better Call Saul, which is in the middle of a two-season pickup. Netflix is the VOD partner on the Breaking Bad offshoot, with Season 1 already streaming on its platform. Corss also has a presence on Netflix as co-star of Arrested Development, which the online network revived with a new installment.
Odenkirk is repped by Odenkirk Provissiero, WME and attorney P.J. Shapiro. Cross is repped by Brillstein Entertainment, UTA and attorney Harris Hartman.
With Bob aAnd David is an original Netflix production, with Lutely Productions providing production services.

Actually I think Paul F. Tompkins looks better now than in the 90s.
Have only seen the first episode and the first ten minutes was brilliant, it's as if they haven't missed a beat. The rest of the episode was kinda hit and miss.

Re: W/ Bob & David (Netflix) - Bob Odenkirk & David Cross Sketch Comedy
I already watched all 4 episodes and the documentary. There are sketches that would legitimately rank among the best Mr. Show sketches and I can't think of a single misfire of a sketch. It's like there's an unwritten rule that critics have to call sketch comedy shows hit-or-miss but this is 2 hours of consistently-hilarious sketch comedy.
