I keep giving the Simpsons another chance and I am pretty much always disappointed. Let it die.

I thought it was good tonight. Duffman is a character that hasn't really been explored too much on the show. Granted the episode only partly focused on him but I thought the idea of Homer being in the role for a while was sort of fun. I liked the competition for the next Duffman and the touring of the Duff factory. I also liked when Homer said that a tee-shirt cannon has never killed anyone and it went off into the Flanders' window taking out Maude's picture. Also thought the part where Lisa was was talking to the family therapist at the track turned out to be just in her head was sort of funny. The tribute to Sam Simon at the end was nice too.

I didn't care for this one as it just felt lazy, but I thought the short tribute to Simon was nice.

Sucks to be you. "The Simpsons" has had some pretty good episodes the past couple of seasons.

I would concur, there have been some very strong episodes in the past two or three seasons. While not as consistent as the Simpsons' golden years, I would consider several recent episodes near classics.

I loved the idea, and love anything Duff Gardens - the game of thrones bit on duff gardens was fun.

The Sam tribute didn't feel right. I know he has not been involved in a loooong time - and it felt like one of those let's just tack on this clip and say 'goodbye'

I think the American Dad Game of Thrones episode ruined animated tributes to that show for me.

I quit watching after 21 years. From season 10 to 21 I think there were a handful of episodes I would consider classic. I caught up on the episodes I'd missed when FXX was running all of them. I think there were two episodes I thought were near classic.
